I get where you're coming from, in the other thread I said it was a bad move from Portugal sending this song, but the song grows on you the more time passes by. When you hear it the first time it's not that good, but the second time it's somewhat better and when you compare it with this year's competition, then it gets a lot better.

Basically this, I'm starting to think this will be the best entry Portugal ever had. Of course that depends on his live performance.

I'm not watching the semi finals this year, last year I did and it made the main show incredibly boring. Will check out the non qualifiers after the respective shows online so I don't miss a gem that didn't make it.

Yea I remember hearing that on holiday and writing down the lyrics so I could find it. Greek remixes are the shit. I used to love Knock Out but then they started doing their own original stuff which is pretty crap.

Such a shame this entry is. If you're gonna sacrifice your soul and send some generic crap at least send something with a hope of finishing in the top 10. They can't seriously think this is gonna do well?

For what it's worth, Portugal's highest placement in the contest so far was 6th. And it seems like the live performance of his is received extremely well among the jury at least.

It's a great song. Could be part of an animated movie.

Portuguese love to shit on their artists/performers/culture/whatever. Even Ronaldo isn't safe from this.

My personal favourites of those I've seen so far are the yodeling Hip Hop act and the one that starts with the quote from Einstein.

I know, basically anything in top5 would already be Portugal best entry and it seems that they have a chance of getting there this year.

So, are there any streaming link available so we can test it outside europe or will we have to wait for the contest to start?

So reddit provided two possible streaming links.

It seems that sweden's SVT has already confirmed it won't region lock anyone and RPT's link seems to be working right now, so I guess it'll be working later on when eurovision starts.

The live streams on YouTube give viewers around the world the chance to follow the action as it takes place in Ukraine. Due to rights technicalities, unfortunately the EBU is unable to live stream in the United States, Canada, Taiwan, South Korea and Brazil. As a consequence it is necessary to geoblock the live streams of the shows in these territories.

It's quite interesting to learn that most countries in the world can watch the youtube streaming but Brazil can't :/ We don't even have any broadcaster that airs this here, it's not like the US that will at least air the finals. And it can't be just because we have a radio broadcaster that is associated to the EBU, Chile has a damn tv channel associated and they can still watch it. /rant

Crossing my fingers that SVT's stream comes through and the EBU doesn't come down on them. I'd like to catch the first few songs while at work. They pull Melodifestivalen songs from our YouTube but don't geoblock the live stream, so I'm hoping at least for them to pull through.

SVT's coverage is quite excellent, too.


Also Luisa Sobral mentioned in interviews that she really liked the Finnish entry (because she has good taste), and put up a short video of her and Salvador singing it <3

Time to choose the stream. I always listened to the SVT one before but our commentator Edward af Sillén just got meaner and meaner year after year until he just sounded like a real horrible bully. So I started watching the Eurovision.tv one but I miss the extra info about the songs and artists.
This year Måns will be commenting with Edward so maaaaybe I'll give SVT a chance... hmm.
