This story has some serious miscues, imo. For starters, I would never recommend proselytizing the opposite sex. I leave that junk to the mormons who are notorious for marrying-to-convert or at least dating-to-convert.
OP, I think this girl possibly has a thing for you. She's cooking for you. She's taking time out of her day to see you. OP, you are on this girl's radar unless you are very noticeably ill and she's trying to cast the net salvation upon someone on death's doorstep.
Of course, the other consideration could be that this poor gal is out of school, working full time, going to church, and still lonely. Lonely causes this, too. The fact she is trying to invite you to her church could just be her attempt to make new friends AND get in with a church she is still trying to connect with. Trust me, you can go to a church for over a year and still feel like you're on the outside looking in. It's a strange place to be.
Also, I'm sorry you decided leave home, ditch church, and believe we all randomly flew together. That is some messed up stuff to believe. I admire the strength of your faith, and may the randomness be kind to you throughout your days.
