using someone's internet reminded me of my neighbor knocking on my door after I locked my wifi and him asking if I could give him the pw so he could download his movies, music and games
I just said "nope" and said good bye

Also my friend was complaining about slow speeds every night so I just said "unplug the power and wait a few minutes", her neighbor knocked on her door and asked if the internet was shut off for her too lol

Point of these stories is

These google maps reviews are incredible

First of all, as soon as I walked in there was a strong, foul odor, very hot/ uncomfortable temperature. I guess the fact that they have stand by police officers doesn't help the scene. Our waiter approached us; he was very sweaty and clammy, smelled like he had not bathed in days, eyes were bugged out... Not one to judge the outward appearance but if you ate bringing me my food -- I Dont expect you to smell or have sweat pouring out of your hands as you point to things on the menu for me..(not a weak stomach, I just expect cleanliness around my food).. Ordered 3 apps and 2 drinks. Total was $35 gave $40 cash. Waiter never brought change back--just assumed it was his tip. When confronted to just by me a drink with the change, waiter insisted my guest told him to keep it (which she didn't), got angry, and threw the change in her face saying, "fine take your little money it's nothing?'" I Dont have nothing else to say.. I'm appalled.

my current vehicle is a dark blue. it's terrible to keep clean looking.

so I think for my next car I'm going to get a lighter silver looking color

edit - anyway I think I'm going to see doctor strange tonight, anyone else here going to see it? I don't want to talk to the weirdos in the official thread about it.

I usually like marvel movies in that dumb action movie kind of way. I think where they fail is when they get excessive with the action set pieces like in age of ultron or when the character is super corny like Thor.

how's it going with the lady?

And it's going pretty good. I've been having miniature freak-outs about the whole thing because it is such a change from the rest of my life, but it's something I'm going to have to get used to so *shrug*

One of my fellow Bernie bros is still all butthurt about the DNC. And is all about calling Clinton out on her shit. So much so that he voted for that anti science weirdo Jill Stein. And it's like I get it, Clinton isn't perfect. She's a politician and as such she has some faults but she has also done some good. I would much rather have that than what Trump represents.

I think the important thing right now is voting against Trump. All the other issues can be sorted later.

And I'm glad it's going good with Bethan. Everyone deserves some measure of happiness in their life.

What really grinds my gears is when people jerk off to all the obama being cool in public pics. It's publicity and has nothing to do with his politics. Just shows how shallow and easily manipulated the average understanding of politics seems to be. They want a showmaster above anything else. Decisions on war and all that stuff can be easily shrugged off as "well nobody's perfect!!!!!11"

There's having faults and there's continuing to bomb the middle east, supporting the coup in Honduras, sticking with bad economic models etc.

Also Berniebro is a really dumb term that ignores all the female support he got. And tbh I'd rather have someone who may have some bad opinions on a few medical issues but advocates fully socialised healthcare over someone who wants to keep a system that goes nowhere near far enough to help poor people get medical treatment. It's not like she'll be pushing through legislation that bans wi-fi or vaccines (and being fair to her on that, from what I can tell the whole thing she was saying with vaccines is that she's not comfortable with medicine being testing by non-independant studies which isn't exactly unfair). And yes, not letting Trump in is very important, and yes Clinton is best placed to do that. But nothing's going to change, the other issues won't get sorted because the left continually gets marginalised by liberals, there will be a recession and everything will go to shit. *sigh* Oh well, we're all gonna die from climate change anyway.

And thanks! Yeah, it's weird and like I said I am having mini-freakouts but things are good. She's always been a good friend that I've never had any trouble talking to, so it's nice.

TBH I kinda hope Wonder Woman ends up being the only good movie in the D.C. Film universe. Would end up with a pretty interesting situation

Wonder Woman origin doesn't take too much. Majority of the film she just has to fight (which already looked good) or be stoic and confused. Just need to nail the beginning and a bit towards the end

I thought Gal Gadot was great as Wonder Woman. I'm not invested in the comic source material or anything but she seemed to pull it off perfectly well + looked great

Same and agreed. Her and Batfleck were the only good things about BvS

Gal Gadot is the best on-screen Wonder Woman we've ever had and a step up for the character in general. She was the fourth best thing about Batman v Superman.

She didn't have to do a ton so it's hard to say. I definitely liked her tho. She shouldn't have to do a ton more for the Wonder Woman movie which is why I'm not worried. Any movies that are less focused(justice league) or more complex (a ww sequel) would need stronger performances for her to stand out
