I ate so much meat on keto. Meats and cheeses all the time. The anti-vegan diet, really. Though I do know some vegans who've given it a try. It just becomes very expensive.
Speaking of, I'm eating a homemade Greek salad right now. It's pretty delicious.
Fucking love a good greek salad. I could live off olives.
I've done ketosis before, and it worked like a charm. It was HARD to maintain, though. Talk about dedication and perseverance.
I've tried low carb diets before, but my dumb ass is way to addicted to double cheeseburgers and grilled cheese sammiches to ever stop eating them. Curse you tastey food, CURSE YOU!
I won't lie, it wasn't easy. Especially the start, the chemical adjustment leading to mood swings. And I love my carbs, sweets, etc anyway, so cutting them out of the diet was really hard. But I knew it wasn't permanent, so I just stuck with it for a few months and bounced back to diet normality.
what do you do for a job??
Didn't you for gaming company at one point or another
I'm an "employment consultant" for a JobActive organization on a government contract, basically the welfare system in Australia. I meet with clients to discuss and monitor their welfare obligations, while working with them on their employment goals, and in some cases strategise and work around physical/mental barriers.
I care far less about having well defined abs than I do about drinking beer and ingesting carbs.
Was never abs for me, but instead my specialist advising I lose as much weight as possible between my then appointment and the next. I was well overweight, and gastrointestinal issues indicated the first point to address was exercise and weight. As the specialist noted in my following appointment, most patients told to lose weight won't actually do so. I'd done the opposite. After that first appointment I just bit the bullet, worked out a ketosis diet, purchased weights and a bike, and killed it for a few months, with the goal of losing as much as possible.
I could still stand to lose 10 - 15kg which I'm working on now, but I'm long off keto. Just exercise and watching what I eat (most of the time).
Definitely missed beer though. Bad.
