PS5 porting is already in progress on every game they have. FH6 is only not going to be day one because they haven't got it ready in time as it was already late in development when they went multiplatform.Looks like they are confident in the product.
They have something substantial if PS5 porting is already happening.
I'd put it down to not selling on Xbox, and having no choice but to cater to other platforms where they can actually sell their games.Looks like they are confident in the product.

They need to have a game first. That will likely be competent at least.I'd put it down to not selling on Xbox, and having no choice but to cater to other platforms where they can actually sell their games.
It should be. UE5 makes that much easier to port. If Halo is day 1 PS5, so will GearsGears E-Day better be day and date too or I riot.
It could just as well be that they don't want to kneecap Fable PS5 sales by releasing it later after the hype dies down and reality sets in.Looks like they are confident in the product.

Yeah MS very clearly overestimates how good their own games are. Day and date is their best play for max sales. It could just as well be that they don't want to kneecap Fable PS5 sales by releasing it later after the hype dies down and reality sets in.
I don't think you can infer anything about the quality.
I still don't think it comes out till 2027. Only reason it is at upcoming Direct, imo, is because it would look really bad if Playground Games only showed recently announced Forza 6, but not the game they have been showing for 5+ yearsLooks like they are confident in the product.

Isn't the direct specifically for games releasing in the calendar year?I still don't think it comes out till 2027. There have been a ton of concerning rumors, specifically whether the Forza tech engine is compatible with an RPG game. Past talks of switching to UE5

Yes. I am just skeptical. At best it releases in the Fall, but Microsoft should have Gears, Call of Duty, possibly Clockwork Revolutions coming out in the Fall. Alongside GTA 6, if it releases. Fable will be the game that gets pushed, imoIsn't the direct specifically for games releasing in the calendar year?
The summer thing is for stuff further out.
Find out in a couple of weeks I guess. My bet is September but December like Indy is also a possibility, could be a nice Christmas game.Yes. I am just skeptical. Andy Robinson confirms day 1 on PS5
Now it's claimed that the show won't only feature those three games. According to Shinobi602, who has a history of reporting confidential information about upcoming games, the show will feature "a 'secret' fourth game."
VGC can corroborate this and understands that the fourth game is a promising indie title from a third-party publisher.
Fable was announced in 2020 as part of the Xbox Games Showcase. The game, which is a reboot of the Lionhead RPG series, doesn't...

What a great body
May get it on PS5 depending on PC optimization.
Actually, may just sub to gamepass for a month to play it on PC and then wait for a $30 price on PS5.
"i mean i don't know, i imagine it is"
Strong confirmation.
They have to make there money back somehow. There's no way that releasing a game with a development length as long as this one was going to make profit releasing only on gamepass/xbox day 1.
So Steam isn't profitable for them? Surprising…
Nah the war isn't over, it's just transitioning to console vs PC, it's been obvious for awhile now. Watch how core PlayStation fans talk about PC and Windows, and how core Xbox fans talk about PC and Sony delaying PC ports. And Steam Machine is a new challenger, console warriors from all sides will show their true colors when that one launches, Gabe will go nomnom on everybody's cake very soon.Im just waiting to see all the PS players who vehemently were against Fable who end up getting the game day one anyway on PS5.
The console wars are dead, its time to come together and just enjoy games.
A bad game is a bad game a good game is a good game regardless of who is making it.
Microsoft is gonna be charting heavily on the PlayStation 5 charts again this year.
