How do I change it to most recent feeds? The 'top' news is random old stuff I didn't even comment on

I just had a post on the top of my feed from an hour ago about someone worried about going to the dentist, and about 6 posts down is the same person saying he had nothing to worry about afterall

So they basically took the most recent news feed and condensed it into the ticker. Then the top news is pretty much the most popular ones from before. I don't really mind the changes, I just wish I could look at the full sized feed in chronological order.

also, I love that some updates show up as a top story above another update out of order so I read them backwards.

I like how my status update from 2 minutes ago is listed under "From Earlier Today" while my friend's status update from 1 minute ago is listed under "Recent Stories".

I love the new update. My only problem with it is that the side bar does not work as a combination of both live updated and chat. The new ticker is excellent, but they should find another solution for the chat, that bar is not big enough for the two of them.

And man, my whole wall is now people whining about the new update. I feel like I'm in a time warp to fucking 2008. Get over it.

The difference is mostly non-aesthetic. The aesthetic changes are bigger pictures within stream, and blue top-left hinges for 'important' updates.

I think the majority of complaints are about how FB 'smart organizes' posts on the news feed. I don't have a problem with it personally, but I've manually filtered who my feed displays.

I like the update, primarily because of the new granular controls (See above about manually filtering) and larger images within feed. I only had an aesthetic problem with the ticker.

Guys, if you enter facebook regularly, the feed is more chronological and full of smaller updates. If you only enter once in a while, the feed only show you what's big because that's probably what you want to see. My feed right now only hsows me the "Recent Stories" in chronological order and it includs almost everything someone posts because my Facebook is always opened in the background. if you only enter once in a while, the "Recent Stories" will be shown after the "Top Stories".
And there's also the live upadtes in the side bar.

its respectable, but it has the same problem that all other social sites have. theres really not much point using it as most of the mass is still putting up with facebook.
