It smells fishy to me, i sense a balls up by that Playstation website manager. Or maybe this is Factor 5's technical demo, the Killzone one, a non interactive tech demo to show off the PS3's brute force?

That said, of course, their relationship with Sony involves money and one has to bear that in mind with regard to F5's comments. But if they had a choice - and I'd say there was more than one avenue open to them - I'd say system power was part of the equation (if a smaller one than the financial side, obviously).

Factor 5 are like RARE-they make plenty of nice visuals at the expense of questionable frame rates.
dark10x said:Not true.
RSII ran at a pretty solid 60 fps while RSIII at least managed to hold 60 fps a decent amount of the time. Rare's GC effort also ran at 60 fps.
Angelus said:Have to disagree with you. RS2 has some problems in frame rates, you can see it sputter about 1/3 of thetime. It sorta takes away from the beauty of the game. Luckily its not major though.
I thought it was "Runs with wolves at 60 fps"Li Mu Bai said:Sorry Angelus, but dark can spot a fluctuating framerate without binoculars on a 12' inch TV at 200 yards. His name amongst the Apache is the Great Eagle-Eye.

Spike said:Xbox has two hardware lights more than the Cube. Processors are about the same due to the RISC processor in the Cube.
Not really a significant difference at all.
