I wasn't aware of their existence at all until Steam had some Star Wars pack in a deal. Seeing that I haven't heard anything about them I assume they are quite unremarkable.

Jedi Outcast is the best of the series, then Academy + Jedi Knight. Dark Forces 1 was practically a straight doom clone. Outcast is quite fondly remembered.
