I think Penny Dreadful is next on our list of shows to watch, after we finish S2 of Powers. I know Justin wants to watch it and I have a passing curiosity. I didn't have the right subscriptions when PD first came out so I never got on that train even though I liked the look of it.

Pugs are dumb as bricks and needlessly noisy. The constant snoring gets on my nerves worse than any cat could ever do, and that's saying something. Even my girlfriend's frenchie can be an annoying snoring machine/fartbox, and she's otherwise a rather pleasant little beast.

I said this before a few days ago, I like the show a lot but I can't tell if it's good. It's kind of an X-Men light but without all the shitty baggage X-Men has, and made on a shoestring budget but with good actors.

I've been hiding out for a while slaving away at this little game haha
(Although I spent the weekend and the girlfriend's place which was a really nice break)
It's going good! After all this time I'm feeling really really good about how it plays and feels now. Like, it's really close, I'll probably be sending this out to the fates at the end of next week.
So, really excited and nervous.

Overall I just felt it was stupid and anticlimactic. Like the season 2 finale was absolute perfection; this was such a let down.
Also the "I love you" was recorded after the scene was filmed and added in as a response to the LGBT backlash, so it made the whole scene feel cheap as hell.

India was great. I haven't taken a lot of time to relax since. Mostly I've thrown myself into work and parties since I got back, since I missed so much while away. I might slow down some this week, but I got like ten hours of sleep last night so I'm feeling pretty good at the moment. I have to say I don't really agree.
I think the lever was more of an homage to previous events and somewhat clever to bring things full circle in a visual way since Clarke has been struggeling with her decision at mount weather.
also Lexa didn't really die a second time, like she said, she'll always be with Clarke as part of the flame (kinda depends on whatever happens with that thing though...) plus her knowing the tech details made sense in that context since well..again...she was part of the flame and the flame knows what to do. at least that's how I interpreted it. for me it was a rather magical moment to see her come back again.
Pike dying wasn't satisfying but I guess that's the point. Octavia proved herself to be true once again though. +him still defending his position shortly before showed he still deserved what was coming to him.

edit: my biggest problem: Monty and Raven didn't get enough praise at the end.
general stuff I didn't get/somehow missed maybe:
earlier in the show when Octavia was poisened and saw that "monster"...was that ever really cleared up? or was it just a random mutant?
what happened to the kinda-love-interest of Raven?
