Doing shadow boxing with lots of body movement, footwork and proper use of your upper torso is a great way to tone up that midsection. Throw on some music and beat up an imaginary asshole. A punching bag works better.

as someone who works for at a LEGO Store, i like you

go get some Mixels

they were called Shopping

haha I played a bit of Lego with my little cousin who came over too though, so actually not that different!

I horde Legos and hide them under muh floorboards

BTW Shopping ain't bad, honestly wasn't familiar with them.

I used to be "with it" then they changed what "it" was.

Man I need a punching bag. I think that'd actually be a fun workout.

How fun is that? I love being in LEGO environments (including LEGO Land in San Diego), but I wonder if it becomes a chore when it's your job.

i'm enjoying it. it's been just over 4 months, and every shift, i have a small build made from the pieces on our Pick a Brick wall and play with that over the course of my shift.

the sweetest part is the 50% employee discount. but my supervisor lets me get sets from the Damage been, a been of unsellable/opened returned product. just brought home 2 sets.

at some point it may dredge on, but thats gonna be a while from now

That's awesome! I'm really glad you get to do that.

Is wholemeal bread good for you?

Yeah but you really shouldn't eat carbs on a weight loss diet, they stop you from losing weight quicker, even if they are brown, unless your working out a shit tonne in which case I recommend brown rice. But if you're not planning on doing much working out I would recommend a high protein lean meat, fruit and veg diet with no sugar or carbs.

Does lifting a spoon or fork count as workout?

It can.

As someone who drinks way too much Dr Pepper, has primarily sandwiches for lunch and is allergic to a hell of a lot of food

This sounds hard >_>

I know, and it is. My first time going on that strict diet i was actually coming off an addiction/dependency to codeine, so I was more focused on that then the diet. But the second time I went on this diet, the hardest thing to give up was pasta, god damn do I love pasta.

My workout:

Walking 30 min 2x a day around my house and surrounding area
push-ups
pull-ups
leg crap

Mine
Monday arm day
Tuesday Leg day
Wednesday core
thursday muay thai training
friday Jiu Jitsu
saturday rest
sunday rest
But I run at least 6 miles every day, wether on a treadmil or not depends on the weather.

Threadmill 1 hour
stationary bike 30 minutes
2 sets of 15 push ups and 2 sets of 15 sit ups

I used to do that and sometimes I would do like 30 minutes of aerobics. But I've been lazy for months and now sick so my routine is in the pits.

Also my diet was 1500 calories per day.

diet is the most important and most difficult part of being healthy I feel.

you really need diversity, if you eat the same things you consider healthy everyday, it will get boring.

im retreating to an advocado, honey, brocolli, kale, carrot veg drink. Fruits and other foods can come later.

All this work out talk makes me want to run. Gonna go for one of my it's super late at night so i can run in the streets run. I'll probably go to bed when I get back so goodnight gaf

I used to run a lot but then I started just emotionally crashing and panic attacks right after so I stopped.

I do an hour of cardio six days a week, which ends up being about 28 miles on the bike or 6 miles on the treadmill. Then I do 99 crunches a night. I'm really serious about working out because, like I've said a few times, I grew up very overweight. Never want to experience that again. My arms are super skinny, though. I should lift weights, but I don't. My friend's wife called me out for "working out like a girl," whatever that means.

Speaking of moving my body, I slept ALL DAY today. I was up for over 24 hours previously, but now resetting my schedule is going to be hell.

I'm glad I was able to make the entire topic about working out with my post! Let's all get swole, shall we?

any idea why? I usually get a work out-high right after.

damn, hiccups again >.<

This is usually my experience as well, but there are days when I can't seem to get it into gear. Not sure what that's about.

I love when people other than me get hiccups.
Sorry

my flatmate had hiccups for 3 days straight, it could happen to you.

Just to make the thread racy again, this is true -- Quite frequently when I engage in any sexual activity (solo or otherwise) I get the hiccups. It's not always -- but it seems fairly likely. Kinda odd.

I'm thinking of getting a new fake avatar, but I dunno yet...

As for working out, I should really start exercising regularly again. I'm getting a bit
actually a lot
of a tummy and it looks weird because I have a slender frame.

Like Fish, I used to get post-workout anxiety crashes too. What really helped was to balance my sugar and electrolyte levels, and not to get my adrenaline too high.

weirdly enough I don't think I've ever seen anyone my age get the hiccups. kinda calms me down to know other people still get them too.
