Has anyone watched Kurau Phantom Memory? I have the first 6 episodes, I'm wondering whether it's worth getting the rest.

At the Eureka 7 press conference in Japan, it was announced that Eureka 7 is being co-produced by Bandai Entertainment (BEI). This is a joint project between the two companies, and while Bones created the title and is handling the creative aspects, BEI is serving an advisorial role in the process.
The mecha oriented TV series, featuring mechanical designs by Shoji Kawamori, will premiere on Japanese television on April 17th and will run for 50 half-hour episodes. Tomoki Kyoda is the director.
In addition to the TV series, a Eureka 7 manga is to begin serialization in the March issue of Shounen Ace and a Eureka 7 PlayStation 2 game is due to be released this summer.
Bandai Entertainment will release Eureka 7 in North America, however they have not announced when.

I don't like it really. Especially the music.
ANN is reporting that Bandai is co-producing Eureka 7. Also, this looks like it's pre-licensed.

naz said:what is an OVA? I heard the term used a lot but I never remember
Trevelyon said:Original video animation, isn't it?!
OVA = Original Video Animation. Stuff released straight to Video/DVD. Most of the time with higher production values. Expensive though they are usually one episode per releasenaz said:what is an OVA? I heard the term used a lot but I never remember
Well its really slow. For instance the whole first ep wasnt even in the manga. Im guessing theyre trying to elaborate more, but yeah if they do the whole thing itll be 100 + eps easily and the director hinted at wanting to do it....Trevelyon said:Yeh, I've only seen the AMG movie, I hadn't seen the original OVAs, so I was a little bewildered by the plot. The manga seems huge, like 28 volumes and still on-going, so I'd assume the anime will be really long.
I've seen the first three eps, so far it has been pretty good, nothing especially great. I'll try stick with it, see if it grows on me.
