The group that's subbing School Rumble is in the process of changing servers or something. It'll probably be availabe when they get their new site up and running.

In comparasion with the game, Air anime is bit too rushed and fastforwarded, otherwise well... it's nice. The only other two ok shows this winter season for me are AMG! and Mahoraba. Mahoraba at first seem to be like extremly cute Love Hina clone (with a twist) but it's kinda cool anyway.

Wait, it's a real anime? Is it as retarded as it looks in Genshiken? o_O

It's a spinoff sorta like Nadesico and Gekiganger 3. Anyways, this episode was pretty ridiculous but fun to watch. :)

It does get a little too cutesy at times but it has it's moments. I'll still watch it for the time being.

Well you can't expect anything else when they only have 12 episodes to tell the story. Same thing happened to Kanon after all (well then again, they gave everyone happy endings in Kanon).

Almost nobody in the US has played the game, so that isn't a problem. People loved Kanon, they'll love Air (especially once they hit episode 5).

Air 6 was really good... what is this about a game? links?
http://key.visualarts.gr.jp/product/air/index18.htm (may not be totally work safe)

I don't think there is a translation patch yet. There are some H scenes, but they really (and I mean it) are not the most important thing about that game. The story is incredibly complex like in every other Key games, or so I've been told by japanese friends.
Looking at the character page, I'm really amazed at how they managed to keep them almost intact in the anime. Talk about very high production values!

This has nothing to do with fall anime, but I have no idea where to post his and it must be mentioned.

There's a complete torrent of Hikaru no GO on animesuki. God I can't believe this still isn't licensed. Maybe it's because of Go. >_>; Anyway check it out! I consider HnG to be on the same level as One Piece. :p

The file is about 15 gigs though so good luck. ;)

AARRGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm like halfway through the series, and now they decide to do just a huge batch torrent. :(

But, I'll probably end up downloading it--I'm totally hooked.

For some reason, Geneon has licensed Viewtiful Joe.

Viewtiful Joe was just awful. It totally tricked me too, because I was all like, well the game was really good, maybe the show will be too. WRONG. I couldn't even finish the first episode. It made absolutely no sense.

Does anybody here still watch Mai Hime? I think it's one of the sleeper hits of this season. The first episode was awesome, but then there was a string of filler and "Hime of the Week"episodes that sorta slowed it down. I only kept watching it because I thought it was entertaining fluff without any substance (unlike Gankutsuou--I love that show :) )

But, yeah, it totally picks up in the teens--(I think it's episode 12 and onward) from then on, the show is just great. The characters are messed up, there's a huge conspiracy and yeah... it's good stuff.

Animenfo says its only slated for 24 episodes, so it's almost over (up to 21 has been subbed).

Anyone else watching Major? It rox :p

Yeah it does. I kinda feel like Million Dollar Baby spoiling by saying this, but the show actually made me tear up. Big time, like Grave of the Fireflies style. The animation is terrible and the character designs take some getting used to, but it's really good stuff. Highly recommended.

Mai-hime is good stuff, quite underated to boot.

Maybe underrated on this thread. I don't see it being underrated anywhere else. It's good, but it just got better with GAMERA! :lol

Edit: Mai HiME is 26 eps btw, not 24. Animenfo is mostly retarded and uninformed. Crappy guesswork too.

Yeah I admit My Hime got really good at around 12, and after just finishing 20/21 I'd say it's still getting better.

But the awesome music is absolutely the best part of My Hime.

Taiko Drum Master has a tv show in Japan? Wtf?

I cannot wait for Eureka Seven. Bones rules and it seems like they are really putting a lot into making this a huge hit. Other than that, I am somewhat anticipating Tsubasa Chronicle, even though it is Bee Train and will probably be an awful show with a fantastic soundtrack.

I started watching it tonight based on the recommendations here. I burned through all nine available episodes. Great show (although you really might want to remove that spoiler).

I started watching Mai HiME.. is it Mai HiME or My HiME... it doesn't seem to make sense when everyone calls it My HiME.. just nitpicking..

anyway, I'm up to episode 6 right now... the animation is wonderful, music is OUTFREAKINGSTANDING, and the story so far is decent enough... really one of the more enjoyable by the books anime I've seen in a while. of course take into account that with this thought I am only on episode 6.

The Japanese title would be Mai HiME, while the "english" title is my:hime. :lol

which while phonetically correct completely defeats the purpose that the show is about Mai HiME and not My HiME.... english... yeesh...

I thought everyone (judging from the first few posts of this thread) is already keeping up with the series. Yeah it isn't being discussed enough but I think the concensus since the beginning is that it's going to be a solid anime. Maybe we need a Mai Hime discussion thread? ;P

Actually, there were quite a few detractors early on into Mai-Hime when I was making my rounds hence why I said underrated =P.

No no, there's a perfectly good reason why "my hime" works too.... but..... you'll see! :lol

I kind of doubt that one character represents all of Japan.

Well homosexuality hasn’t been a part of mai hime and showing everybody disgusted with it in this 'side-plot' kinda gave me a bad vibe that agrees with forgot-her-name (student council chick...).

Well, it's been the whole plot behind Yukino's character from the start. I don't quite understand your point though. Natsuki isn't allowed to not be for it? =P As for Haruka, that's just her opinion and her character is just aggressive with her opinions.

I don't know I guess I took it the wrong way. And yeah, Natsuki isn't allowed to not be for it. :D I mean dammit that's a lot of actually good fan service potential right there!

Anybody saw mai hime 22? @_@

I thought Japanese culture didn't frown so much on homosexuality...

Wrong! That was only during the EDO ERA! Where homosexuality was considered as beautiful as the art of bushido!! :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol

It is an art! Have you tried to seduced a crazy Samurai lately? You'd have to be so l33t to seduce someone, it HAS to be an art form.

I downloaded My Hime on the pretense it was going to be a parody anime about cute girls, giant robots and action, only to be infiltrated by some alien trying to bring around a serious anime (kinda like excel saga or something).

... it's not inaccurate, but dammit! I was misled! Oh well, it's not a bad series... just been there done that kinda stuff many times before.

I've seen so many animes like it I can't even remember their names anymore.
