Man, that sounds like such a cool extra. I wish I could pick it up.

I could pick it up, but I'd have no idea what they're saying. :lol The cover for Vol2 is good though, just Suruga sitting elegantly in her pile of yaoi books.

Natsu no Arashi time~ still loving it.

If you liked the manga, then you'd enjoy the anime. It retains that slice-of-life feel Adachi is known for.

was more concerned about double dipping. i don't like redundancy. and usually the original is better than the adaptation. (ie fairy tail above.)

Major is a waste of time. If you liked H2, definitely watch Cross Game. Adachi is a master. One Outs is also a great suggestion.

Holy shit that is a bloody megaton, 7Th! I never saw this coming, GL's 2nd movie premiering in the U.S!?!?!?! I will be there day 1! :D

Oh btw will there be English subs in the movie!? ;O
Says it'll have English subs at their webpage.

Edit: Tickets are actually reasonable for such a small thing, I'm impressed for as little showtimes and movies they show.

Anyone watch Winter Sonata?
I decided to read up about it and on paper it seems horrific -
amnesia AND incest in a love square? Wha?
- but the show itself is fairly decent. I'm doubly surprised that the live action show has pretty much permeated all of Asia as well - enough that I'd almost want to check out the Chinese dub just to see why this was so big back then.

Pretty Koreans making out and weeping about random things. You can see the appeal.

Watched the first three episodes of A Certain Scientific Railgun.

It's like if you gave the K-ON girls psychic powers, except they spend entire episodes eating Mugi's snacks.

Will keep watching for Kuroko/Misaka antics and potential for badassery.

Episode 4 is better than episodes 2 and 3.

Wait, are these Gurren Lagann movies just series recaps or is there any new footage?

God I love GL :( Even though I'm still kinda confused as to wtf happened near the end.

Series recap, pretty much, although prettier and with more explosions. That's what I remember of the first one, anyways, along with the incredible opening sequence with the Spiral King.

As for the ending, I thought it was perfect, but ymmv. :lol

Waaaaaay better, but Misaka should've just launched a coin at him instead of pretending to be Magneto x_x

If only it was action oriented it would be such a great series.

So. Epic.

Beatrice: You start by acting "tsun" then switch over to the "dere." Rofl. It was a trap!

srsly. from moetrice to trolltrice in no time flat. Man that had to be the best arc yet. Really looking forward to how the final question arc plays out. Another awesome key moment for this ep. Endless nine power level on Battler :lol.

First movie was a recap with a different ending, second movie is kinda the same except with a lot more changes to animation and plot.

Some details:
-70 minutes of original animation unique for the movie
-Final battle is completely redone
-Plenty of all-new mechanic designs such as Nia's Solvernia or Yoko's Yoko SP
-Speaking of Nia, she gets a more obvious heroine role and is a lot more prominent than she was in the TV show

Kimi ni Todoke reminds me a lot of Marmalade Boy, for some reason. Already like the series because it's very charming. Couldn't wait for more episodes to come out, so I ended up reading up to the last translated chapter >_<
Seems like I'm sticking with that, Kobato, Railgun, Cross Game, Blacksmith, and Trapeze.

Watch the 4 episode today, and I love it. My kind of anime.

Yeah, I'm kinda pissed about the show because it could be bad ass and instead it's little hi-jinks and shit. Like people need special powers to take pictures of someone showering or some shit.

Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu 2

i thought it couldnt get any more fanservice-y than the first season, i was wrong
Yeah, I think it's way worse, the first season was grounded in a type of TV reality that made sense, now it's way sillier.

Yeah, the show turned out pretty good so far, I enjoy it.

I actually like the new girl in Nyan Koi, episode 4's been the best yet.

Uwhahaha @ DtB2.

This show has everything.

Drunken hobo child abuser (he getting tips from Aunt Rosa?), magical girl sniper, transvestite w/ pedo son, a talking, flying squirrel, lips lickin' lesbian ninja and a virgin ex-cop chasing after aforementioned drunken child abuser.

:lol

Aoi Bungaka/Blue Literature continues to be one of the best shows this season through its third episode. It's also one of the few shows this year that doesn't throw out a bunch of animu cliches and actually focuses on human drama in period Japan. Good show, more people should be watching it.

I just saw the first ep of Blue Lit. Do you know which groups are subbing? I really liked it.

I watched the first episode today and it was totally not what I was expecting. Of course, I didn't really know much about it.

Thanks, just saw the 1st ep of Kimi no Todoke, I didn't really have any expectations, but simply put, I like it. The social awkwardness and humor stemmed from it was really charming.

Kimi ni Todoke's a good show to watch if you don't mind the mild shoujo tones. :lol

It doesn't really matter Production IG hasn't made a bad show in a long time.

Real Drive was horrid. That dog episode was the worst thing I've ever seen. :lol

Didn't care much for Eden of the East, either.

Aw, Eden of the East was interesting for what it was.

And yeah, Kimi no Todoke really is turning out to be a straight girl's wish fulfillment fantasy. I almost wonder if I should feel bad for enjoying it so much. :lol

What!? I have never heard of this anime, and real women have curves.

I definitely know what you mean, and I can bear through it cause of the humor and the show seems like it is being sincere. Though there are times where I cringe.

Oh snap, for some reason I glanced at it and thought it was Aunt Eva haha.

I just burned through eight episodes of Bakemonogatari. I feel like banging my own head on the wall for ignoring a good show like this.
