Think of it as character-building.To get trolled? Well, mission accomplished.

Greetings, anime friends! I've just been catching up on Fate/Zero and it's pretty damn good.
This season I'll be checking out From the New World, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Psycho-Pass, and Robotics;Notes.
P.S. Obligatory SAO opinion: eh. "Smartest anime in years" is the anime version of "Oscar-worthy story."
Nerima Daikon Brothers. It's terrible.
(bear in mind that I work in musical theatre, so my standards are not the same as other people's)
This makes me wonder, why aren't there more musical anime out there? Are there even any?
My favorite One Piece song (among those I've already reached, obviously) is this one. The imagery, the beat, the lyrics... Just, holy shit. It's probably my most loved anime OP ever.
None taken.
Guys, I started watching Space Brothers the day before yesterday.
I'm now 20 episodes deep and there's no turning back. What have I done?!
OTL
It's SO GOOD.
One Piece 43
Well that's that. Eat shit, Arlong.Another visual touch I like in general is when he's drawn with that slight definition in his arms as his design looks so much better than normal. :lol @ the marine's long distance communication tooLuffy trusting Nami with his hat was a nice touch given how much it meant to him.
Did you do this of your own free will or was it chosen by the teacherAn entire 3rd of my Japanese senior thesis in college was devoted to dissecting School Days.
It was... interesting, to say the least.
I think it's worth playing and got a lot out of it personally. But I like morbid stuff like that so I wouldn't imagine everyone would have the same reaction.God, after last night's experience, I don't know if that description makes me want to play it or avoid it like the plague.

Of my own free will. I was exploring connections to Tale of Genji in modern pop culture and harem-related media.
Normally I don't have anything agains CGi on anime... but man, these are some really bad CGi robots... the ED was really lol-worthy though. The Gyrozetter ED is up on YouTube. It is indeed incredible as advertised.
LOL. Did you get a good grade?

What kind of Japanese prof would make School Days an assignment/discussion point? There's more to Japan than crazy romance anime.
You know about DayQuil, right Mad Pierrot?
Man, I hope you enjoy the ride. I marathoned One Piece last year and it was amazing.
The Saobondy Archipelago arc is where the anime wents downhill, though. Just terrible. They removed the blood, changed the art, lots and lots of QUALITY... I just don't know what are they thinking...
A large part of the reason that I've fallen behind on the anime by over a year is thatwas so horribly botched that it essentially killed my desire to see any future arcs animated.Marineford
The posts in AnimeGAF about School Days always make me feel like an alien...
I know some people don't like it because of how silly it gets in terms of crazy character behavior, but I'm surprised to hear people found a lot of it boring.
I've watched it three times now and I don't remember ever being bored by any of it.
If anything, I'd expect to be its biggest critic, because as far as I know I'm the only person here who played the game before the TV series existed, and game adaptations usually suck, but I think they did a great job with this one.
Contrast with Kimi ga Nozomu Eien/Rumbling Hearts. Now there's an example of an excellent game turned into a boring anime.
Sure. I've been needing the extra rest, even if it's inconvenient.

Not to mention a thesis doesn't work that way anyhow.
Yay for 120 pages of hardcore harem analysis! OTL

Yeah, there's that too... the one episode = one chapter thing... Stopping the anime would be much more acceptable.
It's too popular to be stopped. Still I prefer the way of One Piece to Naruto and Bleach that had filler arcs that lasted a whole year. Damn they were usually bad.

Hey, me too!
Then we could just stop watching these shitty arcs... 10 minutes for the OP + recap isn't, in any way, good. 5 minutes on face reactions/staring... this pisses me much more than filler arcs.
God, I would even accept them to bring back Aspis.
My brother!I played the game as well before the anime came about.
Taking bets on Toei saying fuck it and making the(manga spoilz) CG, y/n.dragon in Punk Hazard
I'm gonna say no, just because none of the animals have been CG IIRC. In fact, the only prominent CG I can remember at all is from OP 5.
Well I can certainly see why some would prefer shitty fillers for a year and then having better paced story arcs. I must say though that with recent story arc I think they have done better job than for example with. To have longer episodes they have added some neat extra fighting scenes to major fights.marineford

Well it always was a kids show.Too bad these extra scenes weren't that good anyway. Also, no blood makes it look like a kid show. Why did Toei banned blood on their anime anyway?
One Piece wasn't so bad until Saobondy... it was actually quite good. Even my brother, who's not to keen on anime but really likes One Piece noticed the drop in quality.

I'm not. Watching kids shows is perfectly fine and I've watched a few myself, I'm just saying... it was always a kids show. It's all-ages. I can't tell if you're just trying to be condescending or not.
Wasn't the entry scene forCG?Whitebeard's ship in Marineford

My brother!
...Did you spend the whole game hoping for a Sekai x Kotonoha ending?
No it isn't. Being all ages is different than being a kids show. Maybe you're just trolling.
No blood? I have certainly seen blood even in most recent episode. Has manga even more blood? really haven't noticed difference in anime compared to past. Seems to have same amount of blood as always. It's not like in Bleach where you really could notice that suddenly all the blood is missing.
