One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
Uh, while lacking in direct evidence on that particular point, I always assumed as much. Curiously, one of them was a dude.
The whole bear/twink thing is more prominent in doujins aimed at gay guys (bara) so I guess you were right after all!
(You edited in my edit! Haly, you're the best!)
No problem~

Yeah I knew it was from Gravitation. Newtype had articles on it when it was coming out and suncoast put it at the storefront so it got a lot of attention. I didn't know what the uke thing was.

And this is where DTL creates his own personal fanfiction for each of his pairings in order to further illustrate the depth and complexity of the genre.
Well there is a very important distinction to be made here:

Yaoi: Gay porn, typically made by girls for girls.
Bara: Gay porn, typically made by gay guys for gay guys.

I'm pretty sure DTL is exclusively interested in the former! So whatever he thinks up still won't explore the full depths of japanese gay porn.

Tomat

Wanna hear a good joke? Waste your time helping me! LOL!
And now I know that distinction.

Knowing is half the battle or something, I guess.

This show is amazing. It's unbelievable how Brains Base has managed to capture such refreshing characters and revitalize a regressing genre. Haru in particular is a shining example of a great male lead. He's mysterious yet believable. Even Shizuku isn't able to decipher his train of thought. It takes class to write a sophisticated love interest and Haru is most definitely one.

So tall and handsome! <3

It's not an exaggeration when I say it's the most impressive romance since Honey & Clover. Someone pointed out earlier how much Haru and Morita are alike and I fully agree. They're both genius loners that you can't help but love. Shizuku is another example of a great character. The way she opens up to Haru is too adorable. Her blush is contagious! Let's hope they can continue on this road of mutual affection.

Haru is so cute when he's brooding.

In closing, everyone should watch this show. It's a breath of fresh air. If it can keep up this multifaceted relationship, then it'll surely be one of the contenders for show of the year. I can't wait for the next episode!

Of course, I'm an impossibly-beautiful hairless slip of a man, so the former is more accurate anyway.

Where does shota fit in this hot mess?

Firemind's relationship with Novid is taking (understandable) tolls on his sanity.

Sora no Woto 8-13 [END]

Decided to wrap this up today before I continued onward with Hidamari Sketchx365 and Shin Koihime Musou. Besides the memorable characters and setting, the music had always been a powerful element that not only aided in the story telling but drew out the necessary emotion for every scene it accompanied. "Relique abandonée" probably has to be my favorite song out of the already stellar soundtrack. Its inclusion in episode 7 during the Festival of Lights made that scene so much more emotional than it would have been without it. It's been awhile since I've last watched this show, and yet the fact that I can still recall that specific scene just goes to show how powerful music can be (
something Kanata later demonstrates in episode 12
).

A truly enjoyable series and definitely one I'd recommend checking out.

(
Was hoping for a NoelxAisha, KanataxRio ending.
>:I)
Stop trying to yuri everything, even if there was episode 7.5. :p

We need a K-On!!! with Yuu Kobayashi voicing one of the university girls.
I suppose Sora no Woto is the closest we'll get to that. lol

High-fives and hugs all around!
This show is good stuff.
It is. I only hope that Shinsekai Yori ends up as memorable as Sora no Woto.

Nafe doesn't forget anyone.

Yeah, there's a bunch of people I remember that don't seem to post here anymore.

There's A Black Falcon which people have been talking about recently.

Miri was posting here a bunch but I missed why he left if he mentioned it. I missed the end of the one seasons thread and then suddenly people were talking that they were going to miss him so I missed what happened there.

Zeroshiki was this threads biggest Bungaku Shoujo fan but apparently he was posting from work and he can't get onto NeoGaf as easily anymore.

Izayoi did show up for a couple of posts a thread or two ago. He got about three jobs or something and was really busy and then I didn't really see him around the thread as much anymore.

Master Milk literally just posted a few pages back but for the longest time hasn't really seemed to post here anymore.

InfiniteNine posted here a bunch and even put a lot of work into the Spring 2011 opening post but doesn't really come here anymore. He was always image flirting with Tiff who doesn't show up anymore either. I thought Tiff got perma banned from the context of his last ban but he's unbanned now, he just hasn't posted again yet.

Doomed1 is another one that doesn't post in AnimeGaf anymore.

FnordChan left before I starting reading the thread but who's name gets brought up from time to time.

Then there's some newer posters such as Lurky who seemed to have stopped posting here.

Many of these posters are still around NeoGaf, they just maybe don't post specifically in this thread anymore.

There's a bunch of people who still post in the thread but are maybe just really infrequent about it such as Flawfuls or Nonoriri.

I Am Now is now permanently banned but I still remember them too.

I almost forgot -- we've reached the group finals in Saimoe; the winners from these matches advance to the top eight. From here on out, each match gets the day to itself.
And yes, over half the remaining characters are from Saki, and they stand a very good chance of taking six of the eight quarterfinals spots. Hell, not one, not two, but THREE of the group finals matches (including this one) are Saki vs. Saki, so they're guaranteed just under half!
At this point, probably the only character who can stop this from becoming Sakimoe is... Akarin.

Today's match:

I don't know, moonspeak.

Though in good and justifiable intention, you're bringing up your "break-up" quite a bit already.
I might have to question the strength of your resolve!

I'm clearly only bringing it up so that someone will take notice and I will have a spot on DTL's pairing list.

I'M SO DAMN LONELY

Episode 7.5 was such a tease.
The show does it by itself. My yuri-vision wasn't even powered past 10%
That was just girls being friendly. Yeesh!

Heh, that's a plot-relevant match-up at least. lol

I seriously don't understand why the Saki girls are so popular.
Glad you are still here posting and haven't quit though.
