The unrestrained nature of both the violence and the grotesque look of the monsters really does make this one of the finest bits of absurdist comedy to ever exist. Seriously, the

So we have reached the end of the First String arc, and indeed many tears of shonen manliness were shed. Also, I think Zaizu is my favorite character, well, when he is being the stereotypical evil sports team villain at least.
All and all I would call this the Growing the Beard Arc as this is when Ace of the Diamond is really beginning to shine and also why it is on my AOTY list.
So we have reached the end of the First String arc, and indeed many tears of shonen manliness were shed. Also, I think Zaizu is my favorite character, well, when he is being the stereotypical evil sports team villain at least.
I kind of figured Chris was not going to get picked based on several factors, but still kind of sucks since Harihuchi is kind of dull and Chris really got steroid injected with chracter development.

[Monogatari: S2] - END
Before I say anything else about this episode I have to point out that the CG was really, really bad and rather distracting. I don't know who thought it was a good idea but they were dead wrong. Geeze.
Beyond that, and some slightly wonky cinematography in parts, this was a pretty fantastic finale. It legitimately delivered in a way I hadn't quite imagine to the point where I can almost forgive how inconsistent this season has been. Almost.
Still, complaints aside, this is now probably my favourite arc in the whole of the -Monogatari franchise. I'm genuinely surprised that it turned out so great. Based Nisio Isin, etc.
Anyway, the arcs I can recommend from this season without reservation are: The Tiger Arc, The Snake Arc and this arc. Mainly because they're free of little girls!

Well, the Shinobu and Mayoi arcs aren't really directed that well and the production looks even crummier than usual. Still, I'd recommended people to watch the whole thing (minus clipshows of course). I'm just highlighting the best stuff!

Your loss on Gundam Build Fighter and I know this is a controversial choice because Yamato 2199 is getting a bunch of last minute love here, but I stand by my conviction.

Yes that was an awesome episode. It was very hard to write a post for it without spoiling so I had to talk about other things. So good.
You are a good person. Also I agree with everything you said.
I really liked that too. I think these small moments of more cartoony stuff in the quantities they've been using them helps create a nice antithesis with the rest of the material that makes it more enjoyable as a whole. I also liked the (near) end of episode 14 in that sense.

KKK is a fun show of the four girl variety, but it is unapologetically Japanese. If the prospect of a shounen parody based entirely on the idea of two girls playing shiritori doesn't get you hot and bothered, the show probably won't do much for you.
That said, if you are a fan of tsukkomi humour, KKK has one of the best straight (wo)men that I've seen in anime. Such a great reaction voice.

Like that yamoto and anzu are getting along, tho yamoto and tschi(or however you spell his name)'s relationship hasent progressed all that much, this is also my favorite ending theme since the 2nd episode so far.
