Fallout 4 - Multiple E3 Gameplay Demos, Releasing November 10th, 2015

This will certainly put a dent in the "publishers don't release games in the same year they're announced", "they need years of pre-hype!" line of thinking lol.

That build your own towns part. I need that so bad. All it's missing for me now is more companions ala New Vegas and I'm good.

Considering what it had, I'd be more surprised if it DIDN'T have a ton of companions.

This will certainly put a dent in the "publishers don't release games in the same year they're announced", "they need years of pre-hype!" line of thinking lol.

Especially when it will, likely, be one of the biggest selling games of the year.

system inspired by mass effect 3

Bethesda needs to take lessons from Bioware, said no one ever.

It's clear they don't want Fallout to be that kind of role-playing experience anymore, which really hurts. The other features are neat I guess, but they're all about *stuff*, playing Minecraft in the post-apocalypse, while giving up the nuance that skill checks and more than 4 dialogue options give quest design. It's not that I wouldn't play the game, it's just a massive disappointment that this is the Besthesda open-world game we're getting after 4 years.

I REALLY didn't want a voiced protagonist. For the modding communities sake, I hope there's a classic dialogue system toggle.

Same here. Not sure how the hell quest mods are gonna be possible.

Liked everything else though, especially the structure building.

it just feels like them building up on what Fallout 3 was that the original games werent

it makes sense for them I guess but its such a weird direction and really distant. I feel super odd about it

I wanted the ability to move furniture around to customise your storage HQ.
Instead they gave me the ability build whole friggen houses from scratch. Awesome.

God damn, it's like right around the corner now! HYPE.

I feel like we were all wrong and the game looks amazing and also looks like seven games.

Speak for yourselves. I always thought the game looks great due to great use of colors and lighting. Animations are stiff, though.

I'll never get people hating on graphics, especially console players and people with an outdated RIG (so 90 % the people that complain). You should be more concerned about FPS. The game could look better but as it is I'm looking forward to playing it at 60 FPS/max settings.

4 dialogue options per question? fucking great...

This is exactly why I didn't want some dumbass VO for the PC, especially the male VO who just sounds like a generic douchebag, that's exactly what I don't want. And what the hell is all this tower defence bullshit, calling in vertibirds to fly me away? Jesus this is a huge step back from 3 and New Vegas, colour me seriously disappointed, and I'm a huge modern fallout fan, this just clarified all my greatest fears for the future of the franchise.

Also, that bit where he was dressing up looked straight out of Dead Rising, the humour of Fallout has always been very dark and though of course there are campy elements to it this just turned it up to 11.

Damn, real let down here

That release date is perfectly fine by me. Most of the October-December games that have already been announced for this year don't interest me a whole lot, so the hundreds and hundreds of hours I'll be putting into this should be mostly undisturbed.
