Need help on "One for My Baby".
Found out
that Jeannie May sold Boone's wife to the Legion. However, I can't get her to follow me to the dinosaur. When speaking with other potential culprits, I have an option to invite them there. I tried without wearing the beret. It's nighttime.
Am I doing something wrong?

I killed Benny, and now I guess I am taking over his whole operation! Vegas is MINE MWUAHAHAHA

Worked for me at midnight, otherwise I have no idea, maybe a reload might work?

I think you have to have a certain standing within the town or complete a mission for them? Not sure but I got that option right after once I found out I think.

I'm idolized there...so I don't think that's the problem.
Just read the wiki and...

When you take the evidence when Jeannie is around, you will not be able to solve the quest in any way. So watcth out !

I pickpocketed the safe key off her and opened the safe behind her, while sneaking (I was hidden). She was there...I guess I'm just screwed. :/

Also, anyone meet the Brotherhood yet? I've heard some really atrocious voice acting and I'm not sure if it was a "joke" because of the Wild Wasteland trait or if they really screwed up somewhere.

I mean, the voices would cut out and someone totally different would just start talking - the lines they say don't even match up with the subtitles.

I don't have it yet. I read that you have to buy it from some guy at another town.

I have been playing as a mix of paragon and
brother of the apocalypse
, and the choice I made just doesn't fit with my character.

IIRC, the helios one facility is to the north of Novac and the scrapyard. Talk to the Novac townspeople and one of them should mark it on your map.

So I was running to the NCRCF and killing some Powder Gangers along the way when my PS3 just returned to the XMB...I've never seen a crash like this before. Anyone know what happened?

Leave it to a Fallout game to fuck up in some way I've never seen before. :lol

The exact same thing happened to me five minutes ago. Oddly the last time that happened was in split screen co-op in Rainbox Six Vegas.

have all my crimes against the Legion pardoned and to meet with Ceasar, and right after was told to meet the leader of the NCR for a seperate meeting

I dont know what to do :lol

Speaking of bad voice acting, the guys at the Tops Casino made me cringe. Overall, I'm fine with the dialogue in this game, but some of their lines were downright goofy. The Guy from Friend's flat delivery didn't help either, I was not a fan of his work in this game
but as someone who despises Friends it felt good to strangle him in his sleep*.

* the number of ways you can deal with this situation is pretty impressive

It's strange - it sounds as if a completely different person just took over for a line of dialog or something.

This just happened during the
ED-E quest, when the Brotherhood asks you to let them examine ED-E.
The Brotherhood guy would talk about what they want and suddenly, another completely different and BAD voice would take over for a couple of lines.

I mean, it's not even bad voice acting (I can complain about the "celebrities" they used). No, it's like they had someone from the office record random lines as a joke or something.

Lucky me, I didn't pre-order the CE (PC) in time from Amazon, so I went into town today and picked up one at Gamestop. Apparently it had just came in today and I snatched it right up. So I guess if anyone is still looking for a CE, try Gamestop.

God this game has been like crack to me, I've played 25 hours already and I haven't even set foot in the strip yet.

What are the other companions to get? I only have Boon (who is pure sauce) and the eybot, which is little more than a floating mule.

It's more of a blast to play than 3 but the DC wasteland >>>>>>>>>>> New Vegas not so waste land.

Anyone who has done the Boulder City Showdown inquire
cuz I used the Stealth Boy cuz I went with the option (correct me if Im wrong) "I'll try to sneak in and release the hostages", I took that option literally. The soldiers went to battle with the great khans outside while I tried to stealthy/invisibly release the hostages but I said to myself, "Fuck it" and burst thru the door and brutally killed the Great Khans leaders. After that, I get an achievement unlocked for completing the main quest thus far while simultaneously completing the boulder city showdown quest too. then I set the hostages free, they attacked me. I tried killing them but my rep with the NRC goes in to "mixed" so I don't know wtf to do so help!

my saved files go WAY back.

After getting to lvl 16, started over because my stats are all wrong for perks I wanted. Now, at lvl 4, I already have most of my equip back and both of my companion (Boone & EDE). Game so much more easy with them his early on.

You either shot the hostages or the NRC guys in the crossfire, or are you wearing faction armour that clashes with NRC?

Either way reload the quick save from entering the showdown and just fuck everything in it's ear.

I do like his little battle mode tune, but if he allowed me to get something similar to enclave radio he'd be amazing.

I had trouble with this quest too,
I also opened the safe right behind her while sneaking.
What worked for me was
sleeping until night time, talking to her at her home, waiting again until about 3am, at which point she was walking from her home back to the hotel. Talked to her during this walk, and she agreed to come with me, put the beret on and she was shot.

It was an easy choice for me,
Caesar pissed me off earlier when his goons decided that leaving mines next to dead corpses was a funny idea.

early on pretty much cements how evil these fuckers are. :lol I don't know, I'll probably hook up with them if I do a melee-evil playthrough, but for now these fuckers are kill-on-sight.

Yeah, their slaves were the first red flag.

but then when the dude wouldn't let me
play in the arena because I was a woman, I decided that I was gonna make it my priority to destroy them. Plus, I didn't like his attitude. I tried to punch Caesar to death but I got my head blown off within 5 seconds.

I never shot my gun at all towards the NRCs cuz I had my gun hidden and had boone wait for me outside the in the wasteland and I was wearing them space clothes from the Brights quest.

I was randomly attacked by a Legion patrol, and I sacked an insane melee weapon off them. 60+ damage. Its some kind of huge cattle prod/javelin. Pretty much nothing stands in my path anymore :lol

Yeah, the Thermic Lance. That thing is insane. Makes me wish I leveled up melee, because it beasts even without any investment in that skill.

It's not that good, but I keep the ripper for my only melee weapon. Theres something deeply satisfying about chasing someone with a handheld chainsaw.

I'll definitely focus on melee in my next playthrough, since I've ignored it this time around. I have a bad habit of distributing my points everywhere since I hate to be useless at stuff but I'm mostly focusing on guns, speech and medical.

So.. apparently now the game freezes when i quicksave/save by any means.

The moment i press F5 the game gets stuck, with music repeating and the likes.

Didnt happened before :/ Only thing i did was installing that Pip-boy mod wich gives you all your status in one screen, but that cant be it.
