I think you have to have a certain standing within the town or complete a mission for them? Not sure but I got that option right after once I found out I think.
She doesn't follow you, put on the hat and she runs up.

I mean, the voices would cut out and someone totally different would just start talking - the lines they say don't even match up with the subtitles.
if he agreed to let you in and hes supposed to be doing, then its just stuck. happened to me a lot in fo3 on ps3. best thing you can do is keep restarting the game at that point or an earlier point until the AI kicks in

So I was running to the NCRCF and killing some Powder Gangers along the way when my PS3 just returned to the XMB...I've never seen a crash like this before. Anyone know what happened?

Speaking of bad voice acting, the guys at the Tops Casino made me cringe. Overall, I'm fine with the dialogue in this game, but some of their lines were downright goofy. The Guy from Friend's flat delivery didn't help either, I was not a fan of his work in this game
but as someone who despises Friends it felt good to strangle him in his sleep*.
* the number of ways you can deal with this situation is pretty impressive
It's strange - it sounds as if a completely different person just took over for a line of dialog or something.
This just happened during the
ED-E quest, when the Brotherhood asks you to let them examine ED-E.
The Brotherhood guy would talk about what they want and suddenly, another completely different and BAD voice would take over for a couple of lines.
I mean, it's not even bad voice acting (I can complain about the "celebrities" they used). No, it's like they had someone from the office record random lines as a joke or something.
Lucky me, I didn't pre-order the CE (PC) in time from Amazon, so I went into town today and picked up one at Gamestop. Apparently it had just came in today and I snatched it right up. So I guess if anyone is still looking for a CE, try Gamestop.

Anyone who has done the Boulder City Showdown inquire
cuz I used the Stealth Boy cuz I went with the option (correct me if Im wrong) "I'll try to sneak in and release the hostages", I took that option literally. The soldiers went to battle with the great khans outside while I tried to stealthy/invisibly release the hostages but I said to myself, "Fuck it" and burst thru the door and brutally killed the Great Khans leaders. After that, I get an achievement unlocked for completing the main quest thus far while simultaneously completing the boulder city showdown quest too. then I set the hostages free, they attacked me. I tried killing them but my rep with the NRC goes in to "mixed" so I don't know wtf to do so help!
After getting to lvl 16, started over because my stats are all wrong for perks I wanted. Now, at lvl 4, I already have most of my equip back and both of my companion (Boone & EDE). Game so much more easy with them his early on.

play in the arena because I was a woman, I decided that I was gonna make it my priority to destroy them. Plus, I didn't like his attitude. I tried to punch Caesar to death but I got my head blown off within 5 seconds.
I never shot my gun at all towards the NRCs cuz I had my gun hidden and had boone wait for me outside the in the wasteland and I was wearing them space clothes from the Brights quest.
I was randomly attacked by a Legion patrol, and I sacked an insane melee weapon off them. 60+ damage. Its some kind of huge cattle prod/javelin. Pretty much nothing stands in my path anymore :lol

It's not that good, but I keep the ripper for my only melee weapon. Theres something deeply satisfying about chasing someone with a handheld chainsaw.
I'll definitely focus on melee in my next playthrough, since I've ignored it this time around. I have a bad habit of distributing my points everywhere since I hate to be useless at stuff but I'm mostly focusing on guns, speech and medical.
