Also the entrance fee just to get in is crazy. Why is it $50 to get in on Saturday, but $25 to get in to see the same exact booths on Thursday? You need to pay per autograph anyways so I don't think its because of the "celebrities"...

Not that I'm defending ticket prices, but Thursday's a half-day. It opened in the afternoon, closed by the early evening.

Worst Fanexpo. Marvel and DC weren't even there. Way less Q&A and discussion panels. They must've raised the vendor rents cuz plenty I seen previous year were either MIA or sharing booths. Prices for toys were through the roof. Sony and Microsoft took up way too much empty space. Celebrity cancelations abound and even though it's spread our between south and north building it was still way over crowded. This could be relieved if they made the aisles wider. So much empty space by the gaming side.

I can't believe some of the prices I saw for even just random little things. Some guy was trying to sell individual stickers that looked photocopied onto sticker paper for 5 bucks per sticker.

Another table had bookmarks for $10 that looked like, again, photocopied paper. I can't get over this shit.

Because they know people will pay it because, like the CNE, it's become a tradition and most people don't actually use their brains and ask what they are paying for

People tend to love paying to be in a crowded building to spend more money on things

Came Sunday. Played Killer Instinct on the Xbox One, liked the controller but uncertain I like KI. Found Lloyd Kaufman wandering on the floor and he let me get a free photo with him at his Troma booth. Spotted Hulk Hogan on the escalator slapping his chest. The attendees are forever the best part of the event.

Waited all summer for Kraftwerk to get a meetup going. I guess it's making up for lost time?

Secretly I want EM and his wife to carry me to G rank.

Plus, all my friends do not play games at all anymore so it's good too geek out and have civil conversations about the games we own but do not play. Backlog city.

Yeah...I didn't make it home last night...had too much of headache and a sick stomach to sit on a packed Greyhound for five'ish hours. I checked myself into a hotel and am now on a Via train home. Good times though, don't regret it, hahaha : )
