There should be a $5 upgrade fee, and honestly I think it's something they might implement if they get enough blowback.

When are they supposed to hit anyway? I've actually become curious about GTA3. If the frame rate and upscaling really do it justice, it MIGHT be worth a purchase.

I have no issues with $15. But when your two competitors offer discounts or free for owning them on the last generation and you do not, then the arrogance is back.

I see a banner for it on the PS4's PSN store app, but it just says "This content cannot be selected at this time." I can see a generic app icon load before this error screen comes up when selecting Dark Cloud's banner. What gives Sony?
Still, who else is getting Rogue Galaxy? I've heard good things, and the cel-shading will really help the game still look modern I think. Xenosaga series, Dragon Quest VIII, Dark Cloud 2, etc. all need to come. Bring the JRPGs which I never had the chance to try out! Only had a Gamecube and Xbox then, so the 6th gen of JRPGs was mostly inaccessible, except for one of my favorites still Tales of Symphonia!

Thank goodness I'm on a so/so connection, still going to take 1 1/2 hours probably.
I wouldn't be shocked if they saw the reaction (it wasn't just GAF from what I saw) and moved it to a blog announcement if they ever had any plans to talk about it on stage.

The list of games is incredibly disappointing.
It should be up soon (I'd wager the next 30 minutes), on the Playstation Store web page there's nothing yet but on the PS4 store the icons for the PS2 games and Final Fantasy VII are there, and when you click them it says the content isn't available yet.
Webstore lists it at 6.3GB. Also weird: you can't search the webstore direct for them, but thelinks from the blog post work.

Since it's the PC version I would imagine it's 1080p (I hope, at least!), framerate I'm not sure on, though. It will be $15.99, if I'm remembering right.
Holy cow I never thought a PS2 game would have such a large file size given how many digital games that I have on ps3 and xbox 360 that are under that

Picked up Rogue Galaxy. PS2 version costs 30-40 so 14,99 is fine. Game looks interesting. But the download will take 2 hours for me

There should be no upgrade fee.
Microsoft doesn't require a fee.
Nintendo doesn't require a fee.
Both of the competitors are completely free to transfer over the classics. Nintendo does have a purely optional fee to add some enhancements, but you can still choose to carry the games over without those enhancements at no additional charge.
