So, yeah, that happens. Remember when people made fun of SPIDER-MAN 3 for being dark when it came out? I yearn for those dayyyyy- no I don't but still.

Anyways, you know the drill. I really shouldn't have made this thread since everyone knows the details worth knowing about this movie anyways, but here we are:

Honestly, I didn't think this movie was going to need a spoiler thread either, but if Jurassic World had to have one despite everyone knowing what there was to know about the movie, I guess this needed one, too.

No it's because you want to constantly kick the old dirty puppy that is the FF movie. And when the others are still patting each other on the back proud of themselves for shitting on a mediocre non-liked non-marvel movie, then Tao Tak can feel accomplished in his feats as FF thread maker.

Or did I just spoil the whole plot here?

I can only reach such highs until every Marvel property is in Marvel's hands. It's the only way we can get quality superhero films. Even X-Men must go back. Help me, and together we can unite the comic book-movie community as father and son (?). So maybe one day, we'll never have to take the abuse of TASM2, FF, or even another Steel. Even DC has to go back to Marvel.

well, i did like the horror/scifi elements in it. Tried to go for that Cronenberg vibe.

Grotesque Mr.Fantastic in the vent, Grimm yelling for help while trapped in the rocks, Johnny hurting from the burning effect.

I think if the director would have had his version, it would have had more PTSD scenes for Grimm and a brutal grimdark ending with lots more exploding heads.

Now it's just a little that way but then cheaps out :/

If they went all out with that, it would've been interesting at least.

But you could clearly see that the director wanted it to be the next Tetsuo and Fox(yeah, good luck with holding on to your artistic vision against Fox) wanted something in line with X-Men in seriousness, tops.

If they had gone all out it would have been a better movie imo. As it stands it's this weird half asses attempt where they forget all the shit they just went threw on the next scene.

The time jump single-handedly ruins the entire movie. For once I was excited for the "training with powers" part of a superhero origin movie, and the film skipped over it for no reason... at all, really.
