So I was finding it difficult to manage two accounts, and considering my main has Waver/Gilgamesh, I figured I'd go ahead and try to grab him on my Waver/Vlad alt, just to see if I could make it my "new main". Unsurprisingly, I didn't (did get that troll Atalante, though!), so I think that settles that.

Honestly, juggling two accounts was always a bit difficult for me, especially since F/GO isn't my only gacha game, so it's kind of nice that I can move on and leave it behind. I'm kind of tempted to leave it there and log in daily just for the freebies and see if I can manage another pull over time, but I just know my luck would be spent there and not on my primary account, which is why I'm usually against alts of gacha games in the first place. The only reason I ended up with two accounts this time, was because I had initially started the game but then fell into a Waver/Gilgamesh account shortly after. I had intended to give the Waver/Vlad one to a friend but it didn't pan out (lost interest) so I just kept it there as an alt. Then all of the grinding began...

As for the upcoming event, I agree with you all. I'm getting a little fatigued grinding dailies as I am (it feels like a waste not to, with the 1/2 AP event) so here's hoping we hear something over the next few days. I'm sure we will, as DW probably knows the player-base are already getting a little restless.

I did.

They were interested in the game, I gave them the account information, they played it for a bit (those with me added to their friend list prior probably noticed the change in name for a few days), then they decided it wasn't for them (they didn't enjoy the gameplay) so they gave it back to me.

I was considering giving it away here since I had little use for it at that point (as I settled into the Waver/Gilgamesh account), but considering a lot of the tickets/Star Quartz were already used, as well as story content completed, I didn't think it would hold much value so I was kind of keeping it as a side account for me.

It normally would have been okay, but the grinding for the 1/2 AP event has me kind of burned out so I think a one account situation would be better for me. If anyone here has any interest in it they can gladly have it, but again the story is completed and everything so they'd have to know that first going into it.

Well, I don't think it's outright awful or anything, but most of the conversations / servants are fairly forgettable, especially coming off Orleans.

I think a fair amount of people didn't like the fawning everyone did over Nero, though honestly its not that surprising as she's one of the more popular servants in general.

True, apart from Nero and Boudica,who were awesome, I don't think anyone else was really all that great, maybe the final servant you see, and I think some servants should have followed you after you meet them instead of being a one time only kind of thing, but other than that I don't really see what could have gotten some of the harsher responses I saw.

Yeah, for a lot of people (myself included), it's not so much that Rome was horrible, it just wasn't as good as Orleans. The first area was such a strong start (well, second area anyway, since Fuyuki was technically the "start"), when you go from something like that to Rome, it just doesn't hold up as well.

From what I've heard, Rome is supposed "low point" of the story scenario, so if that's the worst it gets, that's pretty amazing to hear.

The 1/2 AP grind is wearing on me too. I think it was fine while I had the goal of max ascending Jeanne. At this point I just farm xp cards.

Here I am all happy because I got all the materials I needed to do Emiya's second ascension, I thought it would change his looks again. I do it, I beat the interlude as well (pretty tough challenge, managed to do it with only one of my 3 supports alive) and what do you know, his looks don't change. It did upgrade his NP though, UBW is now even more powerful than before.

I'm enjoying the core gameplay enough that it doesn't feel like a grind much, especially since if you don't gain stamina overflow, you're only playing 10+ rounds a day, which I can clear in my various breaks or play while doing something else.

As someone who isn't the biggest Gil fan, he is pretty fun in this.

I just wish his moveset was more akin to CCC, and he had a tracksuit, but his constant laughter during fights is A+.

He's apparently also supposed to be pretty good.

Gilgamesh right now is fun to use, but that's about it. His NP doesn't hit very hard, but at least his ATK is decent and is a great character to use to farm those critical stars.

That being said, when he gets his second (or third, I can't remember) Interlude, then he becomes an AOE God. Here's hoping it doesn't take too long before we get it.

Anyone really, he doesn't need a specific setup to work (he's a lot like Waver, in that sense). Just pair him up with whoever you like, preferably with another strong-hitter to make use of the critical stars. Keep Waver in that group, since he's too valuable to replace.

If you like Lancelot, keep it as is!

I'm just using Waver because hes Waver, and Lancelot because I really like him.

That's actually my ideal team right now.

Gil: makes many stars just by attacking, naturally attracts stars, has big critical damage bonus
Lancelot: can pull stars to him on command, can generate obscene numbers of stars with NP while wiping out a mob
Waver: can give anyone 30% NP and a critical damage boost instantly

It takes something like a Kaleidoscope on Lancelot to complete this build, but this combo reliably gives you 50 stars and 100% crit chance on all cards if done right. Switch Gil with another berserker for added chances to pull off all-crit buster combos.

Best of all, you never have to take downtime from dealing damage with this party. Just turn on Lancelot whenever you don't have enough buster cards.

Ugh, looking at the release order list for the Japanese version, I'm looking at close to a year before Jeanne Alter is released.

I guess I'll go with my original plan and pull when Jack is released and then start saving for Jeanne Alter in mid-2017. I want both, so it's probably a good thing they're not releasing too close within each other.

My greatest worry is saving for 6+ for each and not getting either. I mean, I should probably expect that given the rates, but it can really destroy you emotionally when that happens. It's easier to move on if you pull whenever, but when you restrain yourself for so long and get nothing out of it, it's just soul-crushing.

That's why I am letting myself go nuts with the Summon Tickets. Scratches a little bit of that itch. I will honestly probably pull again before it's time, but I promise I will have ~10 x 10 pulls on Iskandar's banner, minimum.

There's no reason to think we'll miss out on any specific rateups.

Well the main reason I ask is because in JP it was tied to downloads. We've gotten one of the milestone rate ups so far, but it was tied to facebook likes instead. It makes it difficult then to predict when this will happen for us as we don't know what number they're targeting, or if they'll even still tie it to something like that again.

Just curious. Because I could roll for her now, but if she gets a rate up soon I'd rather wait.

EDIT: To speculate, a bit later after Nero Fest was when Orleans was originally released. Since we already have that, they may put the Alter event in it's place to better space things out.
