I don't remember all the pronoun stuff going on in my Olympus play through but I don't exactly remember every word either.
It was the part right after
Kirschtaria dies and they give him a little sendoff. I'm already over it, but it still annoys me that modern day mindrot is making its way into fiction that I enjoy. After that dino+DaVinci summer event, I knew it was already too late.
The orb god's specialty was regeneration so that's why she was so hard to take down. The others didn't have that.
Well I meant more how using the "bullet" basically took Master out of commission for a long time.
When you're taking down ancient god giant robot transformers, you gotta go big! lol
Yea I loved that part, no complaints there, but how it just kept going from one crazy thing to the next. It just got to a point where I was thinking "ok fucking enough already" I don't mind the story beats, but the pacing was just too fast.
Did master get any nanomachines? Been too long so I don't remember. If so, that's why MC was able to keep going.
Nah,
Mash/Musashi did but he didn't. The only unknown was whatever power Romulus was giving the group while he was still around. But even still, multiple god fights, Wodime (practically a human god-tier battle), the shit with Olga, and two Caenis fights, one where she was a divine spirit. This is all not that long after fighting 2 other gods, Koyanskaya, Douman, etc. and the core fighters were Musashi/Mash/Holmes. Just too much, IMO for that group in particular, in my opinion.
Now my previously linked spoiler makes sense.
Yea I actually clicked it last night before I went to bed because I was so curious, I got a good chuckle.
Not all the cryptors are good guys. There's still 1 or 2 evil ones left.
True, but it just feels like such a lame thing to do. I loved the idea of a force of elites trying to kill us, with maybe one of them (
Kadoc) coming around to us and maybe sacrificing himself for us at some point in the story. Or even if they'd have just kept it a secret until the end of the LB arc, then revealed it all at the end.
The foreign god may have wiped out humanity anyway, without the lost belts, so it may not be entirely Wodime's fault.
Possibly, but he was also a dick and actively trying to kill us until we succeeded in taking down several lostbelts, and then he was still trying to kill us, but also respected us a bit. Still a shithead in my opinion.
Now Musashi is forever burned out of your servant list in my room
Glad this ended up being a lie. I tried both the Saber and Berserker and she loaded in just fine. Would have been cool though if they actually did something like that.
Stinks when they put us in a NPC scripted match but it does help break up the monotony a bit. Forces you to use a servant you may never use and makes you stop and think a minute.
I feel like the boss encounters are all mostly "stop and think". If the NPC stages were more of "use the skills at the right time and you'll guarantee a win", and less "better hope you don't get critted fucker", I'd have less of a problem with them. Being forced to put Mash in the starting lineup is another black hole of fuckery. Just forces you to waste a spot and bring the swap Mystic Code. Hate that stuff too.
Anyways, I'm kinda enjoying my nightly FGO time, so I'm gonna hop back in and finish Agartha (finally) I still need to do that and Salem from the 1.5 stuff, but it'll be nice to not see servants named stuff like "Caster of the Nightless City" finally. Also need to complete these for various Interludes that have been piling up. Agartha is so fucking easy compared to today's story stuff, lol.
Were either Agartha or Salem good stories, in your opinion? I'm still early on in Agartha right now, chapter 4, but D'Eon and Astolfo are boring. Hope we get some other friendly servants other than those two.
