People keep saying this but that makes zero sense, Lesnar already has his match with Goldberg at Mania, so costing Goldberg the title would just cost him a title a shot.
If Goldberg had refused Lesnar's challenge then it would make sense he'd get involved and fuck Goldberg over to force him to accept the challenge..

Better to make 'Berg look like a goober and ruin his chance at a big title win than to let him actually win, even if it means you don't get to hold the fruit roll up belt.
Watching Ricochet in Dragon Gate is weird. The raw talent is there, his bumping is fantastic and of course he can do MOVEZ and FLIPZ. But it's not all there like it is now, awkward transitions, having to be guided through more intense multiman spots, not really understanding match flow and the confidence he has now isn't all there. Impressive how much he did improve in that time though.
However PAC/Neville on the other hand, appears to have always been amazing. He truly is the King.

Again makes no sense, Lesnar is a man who desires championships... Goldberg is the first feud he's had in ages that didn't get started from a drive to get a title.
Also Roman Reigns isn't fighting Kevin Owens at Mania even if Owens keeps the title....

You missed the part where that story has been big fucking humiliation for Lesnar. He's just there for honor and blood.
A feud is never linear or one sided from start to finish. Goldberg made fun of Lesnar 2 times already. It makes full sense that heated rivalry go the next level one month before Mania, with Lesnar marking a big point.
X-Pac heat was legit, he was a heel forever and ever after betraying Kane.
