Watching some old NXT stuff. Man, when Bayley gets up to the main roster, they have such an opportunity with her. If they tell her story right, like they did in NXT and give it time to grow, she could be one of the most over women on the roster, especially with kids. But knowing them they'll just bring her up and assume everyone was watching NXT and people will wonder why this woman has tube men in her entrance and why she is hugging people.

I'm watching Kenta Kobashi vs Joe for the first time, and so far its entertaining as fuck. I remember in like early - mid 00's here in Hawaii they showed NOAH on the local japanese station, but I was too young to understand how hype it was.
Any other Kobashi matches to rec?

So I'm catching up on Noah and Dragon Gate on ye Olde Xbox one's youtube app and it is glorious. Watching the January NOAH shows to see the Suzuki gun invasion and Dragon Gate Final Gate 2014. I also read somewhere online that Dragon Gate is considered the #2 promotion in Japan now? For the puro dudes in this community, is that accurate? I'm a few years removed from really following the Japanese scene and just curious how they would have ascended so fast.

It's pretty accurate. NJPW is number one with a bullet, but the others have declined significantly while Dragon Gate is doing very well. They've ascended by virtue of being a ton of fit ass Japanese dudes for girls to stare at

So watching the 1994 Rumbo before going to bed, well, finished all the prelim matches and will fall asleep watching it.

This is actually a pretty awesome card. Sets up Owen and Bret perfectly, has the insane visual of THE ENTIRE HEEL LOCKEROOM beating up DA UNDATAKER and putting him in the non double wide, double deep casket. Hell Bam Bam even dragged Tatanka to a decent opening match and IRS had maybe the best match of his career against Razor.
