Watching it now. So many menus...it's what initially put me off of Xenoblade Chronicles despite loving the world and music. I'll go back and play it all one day...and then play this one day too, but it seems ginormous.
This game looks like it was made for PS2.
PS2 games usually don't have that kind of view distance.
I'm playing a PS2 game in my free time right now, and there ain't no way the system is doing this scope. Shadow of the Colossus is probably the thing that comes closest.

Seriously though, it's very underwhelming, a lot of the environments looked vast, but bland. Jagged edged. The characters in particular are what sparked my "looks like a PS2 game" comments. Expressionless. Running animations looked godawful too. Very underwhelming all around.
Also jagged edges.
I'm sure it's a fun game if you're into J-RPG's.

I took a break on NES Remix and am playing Darkest Dungeon. This game is pretty great for $20 bucks. The sense of desperation and badass narration make for an epic experience.
Like I've mentioned before, the "latest" systems I own are a Wii and a PS2, so I'm still stuck in the mid-2000s in terms of my expectations for graphics. Don't really care that much about them to be honest, though I'm sure that might change if I'd bought a PS3, PS4, X360 or X1 at any point.

Xenoblade X just aint doing for me. That Persona 5 trailer though has style for days.
But hey! Add Type 0 HD and Console JRPG's are kind of happening again. Thats cool. More of that please.

So my first time watching Flamita and he looks pretty crisp in there. To bad his match with Tominaga has a bull shit finish and is Tominaga supposed to be a DG Nakamura or something. Lots of similar mannerisms.

I shouldn't make fun because she's only be wrestling a year, but goddamn these are the worst forearm strikes I've ever seen;
Crimson/Matt Morgan levels of bad.
For DDT, check out anything with Ibushi, Omega, HARASHIMA, Konosuke Takeshita & Tetsuya Endo, while for BJW check out Daisuke Sekimoto, Yuji Okabayashi, Shuji Ishikawa, Isami Kodaka, Yuko Miyamoto, Shinobu & Ryuichi Kawakami. I didn't watch much Z1 last year, but anything with Dangan Yankees (Masato Tanaka & Takashi Sugiura), old man Ohtani and Sekimoto is likely worth a watch.
Before his recent gimmick change and heel turn Tominaga was pretty much entirely a low-rent Nakamura rip-off. Since joining the MAD BLANKEY heel stable he's become more of a street hoodlum type character and amped up his crazy mannerisms. Flamita's great, definitely check out his match with Jimmy Susumu from May of last year. He likely won't be back in Dragon Gate for the foreseeable future though, as he's apparently signing with AAA.

How they fucked up not casting Rock as the John Stewart Green Lantern is beyond me. Rock would have been able to do what no writer has ever been able to do - give John Stewart personality
Sekimoto was also doing deadlift german suplexes in 2004.
But y'know. Michael Elgin invented them and made them popular. Praise the pig man.

I don't know much about Black Adam so I can't comment on that, but yeah I can see The Rock as John Stewart. Batista is also doing Bond movie now. The Rock needs stop with F&F movies and get serious. Batista about to one up The Rock soon
