Have wwe house shows been any good? My wife really wants to go to the one in Fresno because Enzo and Cass showed up in San Jose, but I really find nothing enjoyable about the main product. If it was NXT...

Honesty, I hope that this is just an angle like how Vince McMahon was sent to jail last month and people thought it was real on social media.
I hope those people forfeited all rights to post on social media going forward.
Then again, they're probably Trump supporters. So it's doubtful.

They're more enjoyable than TV tapings. So you've got that in the plus column.

I don't hate the guy. I hate the fans that ruin shows and threads screaming where is he, why isn't he wrestling, why isn't he doing more headbutts

Those same people shouted us down when we were saying immediately there was something fucked up in the ROH shows where he and McGuinness ran their heads into each other like fucking rams, while chanting for more

Both those guys had their lives and careers shortened by that and more stuff the fans cheered for. The fans? Don't give a fuck. Don't see anything wrong with it. That's sickening to me.

And it was necessary right now because people in this exact thread are doing the same thing. "Go elsewhere, Bryan! Some place that'll say YES" "Be a work, Bryan!" "Do more headbutts and matches, Bryan!" We're one post away from an unironic blood for the blood god plea. Again, sickening and deplorable behavior.

Agreed. In the end you'd think an honest-to-goodness fan would have a little more care for their favorite wrestler's well-being. It's actually kind of disturbing to think about.

I urge some of you to reflect on this and have a little perspective on life for your favorite entertainer beyond wrestling, and the often misplaced drive of a professional athlete, not knowing when to stop until it's far too late.

I'm so sad to hear about D.Bry. If it's true and not a work I hope he takes it seriously and doesn't throw away his health and safety wrestling anywhere else. :(

Yeah this better not be a work or they are going to piss off ESPN.

Wonder what next for him. Maybe he can be the 3rd man in the Smackdown booth.
That's Saxton's gig. Don't you take his livelihood away from him. He's still learning the ropes.

Ring Of Honor said:
Thank you BRYAN DANIELSON for your contributions to not only Ring of Honor Wrestling but the entire sport of Professional Wrestling. ‪#‎ThankYouAmericanDragon‬ ‪#‎ThankYouDanielBryan‬

ROH just posted this on Facebook. Doubt they'd be duped in a work.

It's probably real, but Coach's tweet reads like Bryan is confirmed to be on the show, then he uses 'impending retirement'.

I was just overly-hopeful, thanks to the ambiguity from the split opinion of doctors. If he's now gotten the definite out-of-WWE confirmation that it's too dangerous for him to wrestle, then of course I don't want him to put himself at genuine risk.

That doesn't mean that I don't want to see him wrestle though, just that there's a sensible line in the sand though and it appears he's over it.

I also don't get why everyone trusts outside doctors more than WWE doctors. Aren't WWE doctors more knowledgeable when it comes to injuries that wrestlers are prone to? I bet WWE has more knowledge about how many concussions Bryan has had than any of the outside doctors.

I remember the "Don't try this at home!" campaigns in 1997, where Shawn Michaels said "I've had over a dozen concussions". WWE is getting smart about concussions because they can potentially ruin lives. And Bryan had a lot of them. His family has begged him mutliple times to retire.

Damn bryan will be missed part of me is really hoping this is a swerve like mark henry retirement but my heart knows this is most likely real :(

So best matches Daniel Brysn had in WWE?

Vs. HHH at WM30
Vs. Punk at Over the Limit 2012
Vs. Sheamus 2/3 falls at Extreme Rules 2012
Vs. Cena at Summerslam 2013 or 2014, can't remember which

Because of the insistence on believing in meta-narratives of Evil WWE keeping Talented Daniel Bryan down to push bodybuilders with no talent. In this world, the WWE doctors are part of the meta-story, and they're also heels. The doctors are henchmen in the evil meta-story authority stable.

If it is legit, I really hope he uses the time to shoot. It will never happen since he's a professional, but tonight I hope at least we hear from Bryan Danielson, not Daniel Bryan.

The WWE doctor is Dr. Joseph Maroon, currently portrayed as the villain of the movie Concussion, and in the midst of NFL concussion controversy.

Why don't you ask CM Punk?

From Meltzer:

On Thursday before Rumble he had more tests. That's where story ends. DB talking stems from these tests. Timing tests.

These are the tests that look at all different parts of brain. Got them back January 28th.

So these test results probably led to this decision.

That math vs Punk was so forgettable. Was a mistake to put that match on the same PPV as Cena vs John Laurinaitis. At least it didn't main event the show.

Considering he was just coming back from injury, and now with the current situation, those shoot headbutts with Ziggler at WM31 just increasingly looks like one of the most careless and dumb fuck things a wrestler has done to himself.

When someone says they know they may be concussed but they clear them anyway.
