i am also going to just wait for the PC version at this point.I would have loved to have played Rebirth @ 4K/60FPS, but I ain't spending £700 for just one game.
The PC release needs to speed the fuck up.
There seems to be a lot of hair fizzle/breakup on those shots, are we sure those are PS5 Pro?

i also considered it, but they are porting most of the games to PC these days.I did consider selling my OG PS5, which I did buy for FF XVI and Rebirth last year, but I honestly have no desire to play any other PS5 title (aside from Demon Souls), and the ones that I do want are already on the PC anyway.
Hopefully, the PC port will be released in Q1 or Q2 of 2025.

That’ll be me! Rebirth, TLOUP2, Spider-Man 2, Stellar Blade. Never touched any of themYou lucky bastards playing this for the first time on the Pro! The combat with all the slick animations and special affects will be so good at 60fps.
And you are announcing this why? You think someone care?I would have loved to have played Rebirth @ 4K/60FPS, but I ain't spending £700 for just one game.

Yeah. Hopefully we have 6 more months to wait.I would have loved to have played Rebirth @ 4K/60FPS, but I ain't spending £700 for just one game.

Reunion is Crisis Core. Part 3 will have a different name, probably.Game of the year looks even better.
Can’t wait to play FF7 Reunion in late 2026 on the Pro.
THAT’S INSANE BRO
Basically the performance mode and quality modes are now merged in to "versatility mode" 4k 60, the dream is alive. The 60 fps mode on the original game looked like it was 1080p. How much better is this one going to be at 60 fps?
Holy hyperbole...Resolution might be better, but nothing can hide those awful ps2 rocks and ground textures everywhere
He may not be entirely wrong, in my 45 hrs of playing FF7 Rebirth on PS5 (about 40% story completion plus side quests) I ran into so many areas in the open world where sometimes the wall rock textures wouldn't just load at all giving it a PS1-2 look. Some ground textures fully rendered still had an early PS3 late PS2 look. Not a huge concern, but those problems aren't going to get magically solved in a patch. That being said I can't wait to resume my first play through on PS5 Pro.Holy hyperbole...
Not mentally prepared for that yet.
I am ready
Holy hyperbole...
Yeah to me the images in the comparisson tool here https://www.eurogamer.net/digitalfo...vers-huge-image-quality-improvements-at-60fps look better. Aerith's hair in the close up, or all their hair in the far shot group photo. But im sure im wrong.
I'm kind of interested in playing this one. I liked the combat and story (in places) in remake, but it was so fucking linear and padded it ended up pissing me off.
This ones not linear. I think my only real issue with the game is that the story is kind of going nowhere most of the time. It's not bad necessarily but the main plot just didn't move much.
