It IS the most popular sport with large segments of the population though.

Ticket prices matter bud. Mls has super small stadiums. Super cheap tickets.

Got two Ultimate Team games in last night, the game plays great! The full PC version runs smoother than the PC demo did a few weeks ago too

To any PC players with 120hz monitors and nVidia cards, here's a tip:

If you turn on VSYNC in the FIFA 13 config, it will lock the game to 60 FPS. If you want VSYNC on with 120 FPS turn off VSYNC in the config, then you'll need to go into the nVidia Control Panel and set the following options on the FIFA 13 exe:

"Preferred Refresh Rate" to "Highest Available"
"Vertical Sync" to "On".

Sports games in a buttery smooth 120 hz is a beautiful thing

So lazy on EA's behalf here, was hoping that as the first Fifa was a rush out for the console launch they might have given us something better this time around. Oh well.

I know that the 360 version stays as the top ten most played online game from is release day till June. Don't know if the pc version will have that staying power. PS3 most likely the same as 360 but i don't think they release weekly online activity like Microsoft does.

Slight concern about the Pro Clubs stuff, play that a lot and half the fun is the fact you can be any team and it doesn't matter as AI skill is randomish.

If they make it so the stats are representative of the team you are, everyone will just be the few top teams.

I really suck at Ultimate team....

I want to build a really varied squad with players from all over, but then that completely reduces my chemistry (unless my players are all the same nationality, or all playing for the same club) and even simple stuff like formation preference results in me having a rubbish team lol.

I guess I'll have to buy loads of 4-3-3 cards or whatever, but that's gonna be a grind. Addictive though.

I always thought the PS3 was more popular for sports games? But yeah here on gaf all the community sports games seems to be on 360 unless I'm missing the PS3 threads? But was watching some twitch streams earlier today and all 360 too and one PC guy.

I am a normal poster in the football thread in off topic community and about 60-70% of the regular posters there are getting it on 360.

I wouln't say nothing has changed....they have added infinity engine and i would think HDR lighting.....it sounds like they just ported Fifa 12 console version...compared to Fifa 11 console version, that was used for Fifa Vita Launch.

If someone didn't get the Vita launch version and liked Fifa 12 gameplay...this might be fine... I'm personally most likely going to stick with Fifa Vita Launch vrsion.

There's no doubt that PS3 FIFA users are always double 360 users every year based on concurrent users

Anyone having trouble connecting to other users for online matches(360).

So far I've been able to play 1. Sometimes it'll disconnect on the team selection screen and other times I'll get to the free roam loading screen and the player I am controlling is the other teams player and then it disconnects once the loading is done.

My NAT is moderate, but this was never a problem on FIFA12 or MW3

I would guess so? I'm not really sure since I heard somebody mention that EA was also selling physical copies of the game, but don't quote me on that.

Edit: Just a guess, but I'm thinking the population for FIFA here in GAF will be going to this or the football thread.
