tek-innovations got all the things that you need. just gotta send them the pdf of your image
I made my own and printed it at a fedex office. Mad Catz has templates. Considering you need to make the image anyway (or find one) might as well get it printed super cheap locally

also for more tips, these videos arent bad, and he shows a nice easy way to cut the wholes in the print

Throws are a part of footsies. It's one of the most powerful motivating forces behind footsies!

In footsies, you have Attack Moves, Placed Moves, and Counter-Attack Moves.

Attack Moves are attacks intended to make contact with your opponent, whether hit or block. The motivation being, you want to move in to your opponent's space.

Placed Moves are attacks you placed ahead of/inside of your opponent's space, without the intent to make contact. Placed Moves only make contact when your opponent attacks or moves in to a Placed Move.

Counter-Attack Moves are attacks used to punish a whiffed move.

So in other words,
-Counter-Attack Moves beat Placed Moves. A Placed Move that does not find its mark (Your opponent's attack/movement) is a whiff, ripe for Counter-Attack.

-Placed Moves beat Attack Moves. Placed Moves are not used to attack your opponent, but are used to attack your opponent's attack or aggressive movement.

-Attack Moves beat Counter-Attack Moves. Counter-Attack Moves wait for a Placed Move to occur and whiff. Attack Moves beat Counter-Attack Moves by taking advantage of their waiting to invade their space and attack in a way that will not whiff.

Now that we understand footsies, let's get back to where throws fit in all this. Why am I trying to attack in to your space? Why am I trying to keep you out of my space? Why are we footsie'ing at all?! 'Cause I want that juicy throw! I wanna toss you in to the corner, I wanna lay some stun on you, I wanna run a mixup on you. If I win a big footsies sequence, let me have that pay off! It worked for SF2 and the generation of SF2-clones and cousins.

SFV? Shrug. It seems like they're trying to make a counter to blocking that still lets people block. They removed tech-throw OS, which dramatically improves the footsies game. But walk speed is still slow, and throw range is still laughable. They're really experimenting with motivators in this game. It's kind of new territory. Maybe grey damage on block and massive meter gain is enough? We'll find out in a few years.

I've been brought down to the level of a toddler and amazed at same time. Can I call you senpai?

Yata's not going anywhere.

Unless Capcom or Namco can create a new IP (which so far they haven't seemed willing to do) nothing will change as far as big name fighting games. Other devs don't have the experience or the marketing budget.

Idk, Capcom probably has something versus related since the series has always been popular. I think with the boosted popularity of SFV in the mainstream, people might pay attention to versus, which will be their time to strike at the jugular.

Anyone have a link to the Sanford stick throwing flash game?

Edit: nm found it http://planetskill.com/stickchucker/

I can't believe this is a thing.

Better than most triple A titles.

Per Capcom UK, Haggar is 72 years old today.

Like, he'd be the new Gen old man character, except he's a grappler with a pipe.

Why does he look so sad?

Sadly parries ruined SF3 neutral game but I honestly love the idea of making that perfect read and nullifying that pressure to a punish. The fact that it could have been used whenever is what made it broken in a sense. It almost made its own form of neutral where it was chaotic and high on octane, making it even more difficult to master as a game.

Why is this view so common? They surely made 3S's neutral game different, but people usually speak as if they made the 3S neutral game some borderline inoperable piece of drek, which just feels ridiculous with tournaments constantly showcasing really lively play with lots of movement, aggression, jockeying for position and a huge variety of buttons getting used routinely.

dat topanga b league intro vid is so sick!!!!

I liked last year's better. I wasn't feeling the rap.

As they have explained, the top 2 of each group get into Topanga A League. 3rd place in each group have to do a round robin with Tokido and Nemo with the top 2 moving onto Topanga A League.

I have a huge backlog of tournament stuff I've been meaning to watch, but I finally got around to watching umvc3 top 8 from scr prelude. Marvel continues to amaze me- chun-li winning in 2015 convincingly, dayum o_O

Going to get a chance to play the R. Mika build of SFV at Fan Expo tomorrow.

Any questions you guys want answered

time to get these Deejay requests in to the right people.

Should I try out the new characters or body everyone with Nash..

the latter probably won't happen since it's all on pad :(

link above will provide you with the draft bracket for the madcatz tgs cpt premier tournament.
if the player list is indeed finalised, this could be the most stacked sf4 tournament ever. even if the brackets aren't in the final version, i can't see how they can make the first round bracket to not be a bloodbath.

also interesting to note is that snake eyez is finally travelling!
full list of gaijin players: hoodaman, snake eyez, laugh, infiltration, gamerbee, humanbomb, dbkoopa, poongko

Yuuuuuuuuuuuuusssssssssss

^_____^

Or at least Faust like drills.

I know each character in xrd takes a million years to make because everything is done by hand. But some Dr Baldhead DLC for Faust would be awesome.

Thats funny because I chose Faust because of his dive kicks, telelports and long normals. Still tricky for me to understand the item throw cancel with Faust.

I really want to get a stick but the Xbox One too for Forza. I am not sure if I want to get another subscription now.

S.slash xx item, s.slash.

Its something in getting better with too. The main idea is almost like Sim (but just barely). If you hit the opponent you end with pogo (or like you would yoga flame for knockdown) and if they end up blocking you end with an item (or yoga fire).

One thing to remember is if you throw a candy bar you can't throw another item until the candy is picked up.

The thing that's been taking me a while is the FD drill cancels. I can do them pretty consistently but not close enough to the ground and not as reliably yet.

I usually play the strange characters in games so that's how I landed with Faust.

Shouldn't you be lobbying for a character that actually have a chance at making it? Like Elena!! :D

Would you still want Elena if she couldn't out-poke everyone with ease?

Bison questions:
Is c.HP a crush counter? Someone said it was, but that would mean he has c.HP, c.HK, and s.HK as crush counters.

What is his KKK Alpha Counter?

Can he still be thrown out of a blocked j.MK if it's done near someone's head?

How does Psycho Inferno on a QCB motion feel?

That's always been her design. It's why she was bad in 3s when chunli came into the picture since she did more damage and did that better than Elena
Yeah, but SFV seems to have the motto of "no one out-pokes anyone else". Everyone has roughly the same attack range.

Apparently Latif wasn't on there. That sucks for him. He's been in Tokyo for like a couple of days already and is staying there until TGS is over. Sucks for any Japanese player not being able to get in as well. They get like 4 tournaments and 2 of them are capped at 64 players.

edit: Momochi's name was on there, but he's not going to enter the tournament.

I feel she would keep this kind of gameplay style, but it would still have to be in a range where a lot of characters could respond. Definitely as huge as range as sf4, but still in that kind of aggressive range.

Eh, he's not that good.
Like he aint win a tournament for the last two weeks. Then wash Santarouman.

you're not that good, b
