Nov. 14-15th

CPT Asian Finals (Singapore) (Ultra)
Rewired (Arizona) (Ultra, Marvel, Xrd, etc)
Eclipse (Norway) (Smash)

Nov. 21st-22nd

Street Grand Battle 2015 hosted by Meltdown Bar (Ultra)
Northwest Majors Drop Zone (Smash only?) Shouta should know more.

Nov. 26th-29th

Dreamhack Winter (Everything, plus the last CPT Premier event)
NGU Santiago 2015 (Ultra, other FGC games)

Then a biiiiiiig break until the next big major in Final Round in March.

Sure, there's smaller majors like Frosty Faustings in Chicago, KiT in Tennessee but Final Round is really the start of the Major circuit tourney I think.

The next Smash uber major is Genesis 3, which is happening in January, but I would like to see people who are more passionate about Smash make those threads, and by and large, Smashers haven't really been using the threads I make to discuss. If they feel comfortable making their own threads, they should do it.

Today got a little more than yesterday surprisingly according to crowdcharts. There are a lot more eyes on the project compared to a few weeks ago and the guest characters announcement helped a lot as well. Plus the prototype on PS4. But it really needs more time, so I hope it can reach the requirements for an extension. :x

Just like they've altered Cammy and Ken's faces cause of all the complaints and left in the gravity glitch way longer than it would take to fix it.

I don't know what I'm shocked at more: that someone made a thread complaining about the removal of R.Mika's buttslap, or that it has as many pages as it currently has.

You're bringing up new changes that people wanted to see, not things that people would like to see back.

Sure you can make the argument that Capcom is listening to feedback on what things to add, but there haven't been that many cases that I can recall when they throwaway the new change in favor for the old one.

It's weird how much controversy the game attracts on this forum alone. Like no one outside of this place really gives a shit.

Because that's the only aesthetic change people want to see back. It's nitpicky cause there hasn't been anything anyone wants to see back up til now, with the ass and with Chun's face or new angle.

Check the Indivisible thread. I've been following the game for 24 hour periods since the first day. I think all of this week's days have been better than the second day of the campaign. The fire has been lit under people's asses. The last week rocket fuel is going to be tossed into those flames and we'll knock Indiegogo down like we did for the SG campaign.

Let's be completely honest. It's almost always about the women. Hot Ryu was one of the few exceptions. No one gives two shits about Dhalsim, Vega, Nash or Zangief enough to spawn that crazy amount of discussion. Everyone and their mother has an opinion about what type of woman should be created in the game industry. Personally I fall in the camp that accepts all of them unless they're blatantly sexist or downright vulgar and even those lines are different for every person. Thank God men get a free pass. Can't wait for swinger Dudley and the barely contained Urien lol.

The only thing I'm angry about is that I don't have any money to donate to Indivisible. The second game I've ever wanted to kickstart/crowdfund, and I can't.

It's incredibly annoying that so many men not only feel the need to impose their personal standard of what an acceptable woman is on everyone else, but that they think this is a liberal and enlightened perspective.

If I could take back the money I used to fund Mighty No 9 for Indivisible, I would. I don't care about the former anymore.

Don't feel bad. If the funding is completed they might allow people to contribute after the campaign is done.

Yeah, I try not to be that sort of person. The industry definitely needs better female designs, but that is an entirely different argument than the industry needing fewer supposed "pandering" designs. People can't seem to separate the two arguments from one another so we get this scorched Earth scenario again and again.

Note: Thousand year old dragons can stay in the scorched Earth. Tasteful designs not trying to be sexy are fine too. Gotta have my Annie, Peacock and Rachel Alucard.
