There's no telling. They did patch it earlier this year with some balance changes almost 2 years after it originally came out in NA, so they do clearly have some interest in maintaining it outside of Japan.

Did not get to do my money match saturday lol. Went with the intention of beating dat ass, dude wasnt open at 10 like he said he would be, ended up opening close to midnight, and kinda put a raincheck on it thankfully haha. -see drunk gaf thread for how this night went instead of third strike- haha.

I haven't messed with the game in a while, but I'm surprised to see Carmine and Yuzu so low and Hyde that high.

I'll be honest, I haven't played En Eins (obviously) but from what I've seen of the game it just looks horrible. Everything visually and gameplay wise just looks like they took out everything great about Blitzkampf and just ruined it. Horribly. I pretend the game doesn't exist, and I'll just keep playing the original Blitzkampf until I die.
It takes the Subtle out of Subtle Style.
Carmine isn't really that low, he's disgusting and rose a bit in tiers. Tbh you could maybe put him in the teir above where he is, just problematic MUs is all that stops him from being totally ridiculous. Yuzu is just pretty good, that's abou tit lol
Who does Carmine have trouble with? Thats who i want to play when i get some time to get into it.

The first time I came into this thread in about a week and it's just to support a non-fgc related game. Do you see what community has done to this thread?
I thought Akatsuki had a bit of an edge over Chaos? I mean not with everybody else but still not as bad as Chaos.

Not entirely sure, but I know people like Merk and Vatista give him a hard time. I'm not the Carmine expert, I just know if it weren't for MUs keeping him in check he'd be with the tops.
Akatsuki has hopes and dreams. Chaos is sadness. Both effectively the same tier. To elaborate it's like, Akatsuki has things that are good and he kinda looks playable, but horrendous MUs and not enough output to cover them. Chaos just flat has tools that don't really work and he can get ran over. I say that now, but if I ever fight a decent Chaos I'll probably lose cause I have no clue about how to play the MU other than to fly over the pet.
I guess, lol. But if I remember right Akatsuki is actually good in the latest arcade version, right?
In ST Akatsuki is good, yeah. He got more output and better tools, and his MUs normalized a bit. Idk how good he is since he still runs into the same issues in some areas, but he's def much better.
Chaos is also better btw, I just don't know exactly how or to what extent, I just know he pops up sometimes now.
I'm just happy that Eltnum is good.
I want to keep practicing Naoto in P4UU but sometimes I feel like I'm making no progress. Naoto is really fun and her difficulty is rewarding.
Any tips on recovering from personal slump other than take break? I feel like it is harder to maintain motivation or focus at times with game than with other stuff.

Well, if it makes it to steam as the outdated version it'll be another good laugh at how ASW is terrible at localization. If it comes with ST to steam, I guess that's cool but will be terrible for the game, as PC tournaments aren't a thing. If it came to steam and PS3 got the update that'd be hella cool, but it costs money to push that onto PS3 and I don't see a return on that. The game already sold very poorly on PS3 ot begin with too :T
It's a shit situation. How do you put out a balance patch with only one character attached to a game that sold poorly over a year after release? There's no money to be made there. Plus, the arcade players are back at the arcade. UNI arcade was more or less dead near the end there, you'd see less than 200 active players a week on the guild site. Why bother messing with that for now?
I'd really like to see it and I wouldn't be horribly shocked if I saw them doing it somehow, but atm I'm doubtful they have a plan that's good for me in mind.
ASW do have at least 2 games coming to Steam. One in December and one 'secret project' that's next year. From what I understand neither of those are Blazblue CPE which is coming in Dec/jan by H2.

Is this getting a home port? I remember a gaffer posted it was coming to PSP (lol) but the source was a Japanese language tweet....
Greatfernman has translated Ogawa's post on what he thinks the tier list is. Keep in mind. Revelator 1.03 patch will be coming in the future. While that isn't a patch that affects the whole cast, it mostly affects Johnny and Jam.

I'm not surprised to see where Jam is tbh. A lot of the problems weren't that hard to see early on. Damage was a toss up since no one knew what she'd get off of new parry and RC slowdown.
From what I see in the videos, damage is all right. It's just that it's not that special compared to other characters.

I wonder if they could use a venue as Playism Games to have such titles released on Steam etc.
With a good network foundation a scene could be started and it can grow.
Honestly there are A LOT of fighters like DB that I want to see get official english releases.
...and speaking of which, whatever happened to MONSTER AC? Did no one pick that game up to get it officially released etc?

A succubs/devil, angel and outlaw seem like a very weird group of characters to be in the same game (within a singular, non-crossover universe). Still its always nice to seem more indie fighting games, especially outside of America/Japan, and the animation looks pretty good.
