Basically it all boils down to, which team is going to win it? EG, Mad Catz Razer or Team Me myself and I. EG is winning everything these days.

Bought bb and remembered it's not really my thing. Might keep fucking around with it. Which one of the sword girls is good in this version?

GGs! You didn't do too bad on picking up the things I did which was good, especially as Izayoi.

On a beginning level, you seemed to do fine. I'd say after barriering, to try and escape by jumping (and barriering) or even backdashing out with Azrael. Be careful when Izayoi ends a combo midscreen with her upward slash DP. It sets up a safe jump. So if you neutral tech in place, don't press any buttons or DP.

I'd suggest looking up more Azrael stuff from players like Zekuso/Zexo. Try to pay attention to how they end combos and what they do after. I feel like you could've won more if you kept my characters in place more.

Excellent, thanks for all the advice. I just finished watching a few Zekuso ft10 sets, and I think they've helped a lot in understanding his defensive game. Specifically, it seems Az really does have to eat a lot of pressure and pick his points to backdash or jump out. I've been attempting to counter-poke between strings, and while it works occasionally, it appears that respecting the frame traps is the best option. His buttons seem a little too slow or too short to challenge a lot of the offense in the game. I'm about to hop on BB in a bit to put some of it to use if anyone wants a set.

Yea Infiltration can bust out all of his counterpicks, but i think his lack of focus on a single character is what has kept him from consistently beating the top Japanese players past 2 years.

You look at Bonchan, Tokido, Daigo, Momochi, Mago, Fuudo, Nemo etc. They all only play 1 character with a secondary for a few matchups. When you focus most of your time into 1 character it pays off imo, you know every little intricacy about every MU that you wont get if you're playing 5-10 characters.

Avatar bets until the new year sounds good on me. I got it that Inflitration wins. Who's up for it? The more bets I take, then all of you can collude together and come up with an avatar for me to use until December 31 11:59 PM

Even as the dust settles on this year's event, GameStart's Elicia Lee is already planning for next year. This time around, CNET understands the ambitious plan is to hold the event even closer to Tokyo Game Show which would allow attendees to try out the new games right after the Japanese event.

"Our goal is to provide gamers in the region with the opportunity to see and feel some of these brand new games first hand," says Lee -- who seems well on her way to making Singapore an important hub for gamers.

So we will probably see CPTAsia Finals happen right after TGS.

GGs, Tularensis and Lost Confused. You seemed to do a lot better this set, Tularensis. It was a lot harder for me to escape pressure this time around.

I still can't get used to BBCPEX Rachel. The changes are just too weird. Carl and Izayoi are a lot more fun in this.

GGs again Rhapsody. I've got a lot to work on defensively, but I'm having a lot of fun learning. Usually I'd be pissed and frustrated after losing as much as I did, but I was enjoying the hell out of myself that entire set. I really wish I would have given BB an honest try back when I had more free time.

5A mash is important to RPS. You want to use it when they start extending pressure in or go after jump/backdash. Like if Jin is pressuring you for example life sucks, but you can go for 5A mash when he starts trying to 6B or run in to deal with you. It is important to start learning how pressure works from other chars so you know when you can really RPS.

Honestly I didn't mean to favour him so much but I just like his bracket. Nuckledu shouldn't be a major threat, I think bonchan's a coin toss but after that it's pretty easy for him. He has daigo's number in the mirror match and I don't respect luffy

of course

I dont think Bonchan has lost to Xiao Hai since Ultra came out.

Edit: n no way is Gustavo losing to problem X. That will be free.

I remember last year when I was screaming that Momochi would clearly win the whole thing and everyone thought I was crazy.

Or when you were saying the last two returning characters were Sim and Gief.

I wish you were wrong.
