Giving themselves some breathing room
Personally, my first thought was "I'll wait for the complete collection". Maybe I'm in the minority there. It will actually multiply sales.
It will also mean you don't have to wait 15 years to see something tangible.

RIP everyone's wallet in Canada who wants to play.
People get that it stems from incompetency first and foremost.I find it strange so many people don't seem to get this.
While late to the party, with those two releases (which I'm guessing will be dec/jan) they'll have essentially caught up with both series console versions, and Revelator and Central Fiction could be pretty close to the console releases.
Misse the best Makoto of all time confirmed.
See Numb you can't escape Ibuki. Only fun match up against Yun is Ibuki.
Well he's one of the most consistent players and puts a lot of effort into this game.. So great way to end it I'd say yah.Kazunoko won guys! YEAH!
Great end to the SF4 legacy.
She probably won't be like her SF4 self because of the way knockdowns work, so she might be fine..I will enjoy SFV till she shows up
People who are diehard fans will get them all.Personally, my first thought was "I'll wait for the complete collection". Maybe I'm in the minority there.
I think it's probably a model more AAA titles will adapt in future, because for investors spending 2-3 years on a games and getting the pay off only after the title is done (especially with AAA cost) doesn't sound favorable. Either that or have a huge team like Fallout or Blops3.People who are diehard fans will get them all.
Thing is that the sales of subsequent titles depend upon how good the initial release is. If it's panned then sales of future titles will drop. If it's a hit then subsequent titles will do well.
It also depends upon what their release schedule is and the pricing.
That's not what it sounds like, seems like they are splitting the original while maybe adding new content in there to fluff up each release. If Square was smart, they'd make the first one be the game we know then the second a proper advent children type sequel type thing.
Have you seen her in 3S? She's not oki Zzz like in IV.I will enjoy SFV till she shows up

Was really hoping that Daigo would win Capcom Cup. Would've been a great way for SF4 to end. Still, Kaz did good. Congrats to him.
#yunforSFV
indeed
even a reset would have been cool
pls no#yunforSFV
He was so close! It would've been real hype.
Daigo: I would predict all of you to use Yun and use boxer myself to counter pick.
he went and daighosted after that lol
Farewell SF4. It's been a terrific run!
Yup, enjoyed my time with it and still will play it from time to time. Not my favorite SF, but still fun.Farewell SF4. It's been a terrific run!
Kazunoko winning is awesome and hilarious to me because we had all those folks that were just focusing on one game this year lose to a guy that plays at least one other game seriously.
He's a character specialist too. Granted, it's Yun...
I've started to believe that playing more games is better for you than focusing on one game. Different gamestyle perspectives sharpen you in different areas.Kazunoko winning is awesome and hilarious to me because we had all those folks that were just focusing on one game this year lose to a guy that plays at least one other game seriously.

No big deal. That crappy OP is what we get for no arcade versions. Why bother having a hot attract trailer when there are no cabs to be playing it.
