I just think because so many characters have ways to deal with fireballs, his sonic boom's general effectiveness is gonna be reduced against a lot of characters.
Flash kick will be probably just as good a tool as it always though. EDIT: and of course he'll have good normals.
Sure they have ways.
Focus was a way to deal with his fireballs too, but it didn't matter when he just backfisted you along with the boom bc of his super fast recovery.
If SF4 Guile was planted in SFV as is he could still do that.
Of course, they'll change it up, but he could be quite strong with relatively few changes.

Yeah exactly, they can make him work well here too but it'll still require a few changes. Just really curious to see how his V-system is gonna work.
If his shades aren't involved in some way in the V-Trigger then there's no point in including him.
That's what I'm thinking too.

If they give him a V-Trigger power-up like Ryu, Chun-Li, etc., then the visual indication should simply be that he wears shades.

SC3:AE is probably the best version of SC that Namco ever made. So of course it ended up being the only arcade-only release in the series. There's no other way to play it.
SC2:HDR really should have been SC3:AE HDR (with the PS2 versions SP content and online conquest) but the (deserved) reputation of the PS2 version probably killed any chance of that happening.

Damn that's tragic. I bought TTT2 and SC2HD from the Xbox sale (and they both went up on BC so my gamble was worth it but it got me to google old SC shit and this weird version came out that actually fixed how broken 3 was.
What are the chances of fightcade getting it or is it too big for something like fightcade?

If they demo him on stage I want it be a match between Tokido and Justin with Tokido as Urien and Justin as Chun. When the round begins they will both back up and start whiffing normals.

This is what I am taking away from all this. He seems stronger and stronger to me as the weeks go on and more stuff is getting out there. Especially those damn throw loops he seems a step above everyone else.
