Hmmm...I would want Hulkbuster as its own character, but if it was a stance swap for Ironman I would be DOWN for that revision to make that moveset more interesting.

If Polygon is just using internet threads from either here or capcom super friends (SRK) then cancel all my hype. If these "independent" sources are legit though then its on and you can take me for a ride.

Shinobi has a great track record and he's rarely this explicit about whether things are coming or not coming.

Mods wouldn't keep a thread open based upon what some FGC personalities think alone. Or add fuel to the fire. Unless this the biggest gaming L in GAF history.

If the rumors are true and there's no X-men, I'd be pretty happy with it. I'm kind of tired of them after MVC2 and UMVC3. It'll be nice to have something that's fresh, character-wise.

That is if it exists. If it doesn't well...

Fresh from Marvel? They're the comic book equivalent of 90's WWF where you had fake Razor Ramon and Fake Diesel running around. Everyone they try to push is simply riding someone else's coat tails or filling in for them in their role right now. Girl Thor, Genius teenage Amadeaus Cho Hulk, Gwen Stacy Deadpool, Girl Ironman, Kitty Pryde Starlord, a million different Spidermen, Falcon painting a flag to himself and becoming Captain America instead of riding his own movie hype and standing on his own gimmick.

Marvel doesn't do fresh. They franchise out gimmicks that worked in hopes it'll elevate younger diverse faces to fresh markets. However, they do it so much now that you can't even keep up with what the hell is going on or what any comic is up to. When they say Hulk, Thor, Ironman, Spiderman, Captain America and Starlord now you have to say "WHICH ONE?"

If its Cinemaverse MVC it'd be a blessing. The comics are a mess. Hope we get movie Falcon...he's fucking baller.

If Marvel is imposing on Capcom to focus on the movie universe, why can't they impose on Capcom to not taint the game with their characters and make Marvel Super Heroes 2 instead.

I just realized that if there's no Xmen, there's no Wolverine, which means no Berserker Barrage unless they were to add in a new character that had a similar skill...

Capcom had this planned out from the start.

'Frauds Among Us' I feel would be quite fitting considering the possible of upsets bound to happen in the tournament, and guaranteed upsets around capcom's reveal

Marvel stream lobbies were honestly some of the best times. Beef vs Degen rivalry, French Firebrand, Saty complaining about me streaming Marvel, etc.

Oh I see. Fresh for MVC would hopefully include things like Black Panther, Hulk Buster, Falcon, Date Masamune, Asura, Gene, Ultron, etc etc etc.

Lots of untouched gold on both ends to explore.

If everything is exactly true it's as I said. Marvel MCU is hot right and what better way to take advantage of it video game wise than release another Marvel versus game. It's amazing how things are. Back when I was growing up X-Men was way more popular but it's the opposite now.

I was gonna put it out there closer to Saturday or on Saturday, but yeah I'd like to the do the OT for good 'ol times sake.

Dunno if there are other people that want to (say, in Gaming), though.
