I contacted the guy if he wanted help making the OT before I even made a post about it in that thread (I have all the receipts). He didn't reply back and thought I was going to hijack the thread from him when that wasn't the intention. He made a big fuss over it then didn't want to make it anymore which caught the attention of the mods. The whole thing spiraled out of control because of a miscommunication.
The real issue was that the guy who made the original DmC OT made a joke thread about it and it reflected poorly on the game and the player base, who got upset over it. We thought that the DmC DE thread should be made into a real thread as to not piss off people again so when some person I didn't recognize try to make the OT I was like "here we go again, another joke thread incoming and." I didn't know the Nemesis guy was a veteran at making threads otherwise I wouldn't have bothered him at all. It wasn't a matter of a "DMC fan should make it", it was actually the opposite... we wanted a DmC fan to make it. And yes, I actually do very much enjoy DmC.
I know you guys love joke threads but some people take it the wrong way. I wanted to unite the DmC and DMC fans, not segregate them further. And that's exactly what Nemesis wanted to do too but he took my request the wrong way and thought I was trying to strong arm him or something.
Things could have been handled better of course. The PM exchange could have been clearer and I should not have gotten any extra people involved. That's ultmately why I was juniored, I got other people involved in this.
