So there is a delay on ground dashes before you can act. I'd say it's a good 5 to 10 frames. This is why ground dashing feels wack.

Like what, exactly? That's part of his defining moment in the series. Maybe his other forms (if they're even in the game) will have something else, but Perfect Cell didn't really do a whole lot.
I don't know, maybe he summons his Cell Jrs. or does a combination attacks with a bunch of special moves together.
I really hope that most of the cast doesn't have a giant beam attack as their lvl3.

I mained Cyclops in CotA cause he had the biggest beam super. I think I'm gonna like this game.
I mean I like giant beam attacks too but I don't think every character should have it.
Like yeah Vegeta needs to have his Final Flash, Goku has to have his KMH etc. But I want to see more stuff like Frieza and Buu stuff.
I am interested to see the other villain characters though. They have done a good job with the 3 main ones.

I think it's more like a slow dash with a run animation (that might be cancellable?). Was testing it out last night and it always seemed to stop at the same distance, but then again without training mode it's hard to be sure.
And that DBZ only has one assist, although I think that's a decent casual concession as well (virtually similar to choosing stones).

The game looks great but I'm wondering how unique they can make character movesets (especially when everyone wants 50 SSJ variants).
Gotenks had some weird ass moves IIRC. Him and Piccolo have good moveset potential.

The movesheet on the demo units says Vegeta's supposed to be a rushdown character. I'd say that's less about his abilities in the anime and more about his personality, since he's always rushing into things. They can make characters "choose" to fight with a certain style like that with other characters as well, I think.
In the anime, characters rarely actually "play to win." They fight in the way they want to fight. I think ASW can do a lot with that to make characters distinct from one another.

Are you sure? I don't know how well that's gonna last if people end up being dissatisfied with both SFV and MVCI.
As someone who pretty much always plays Chun I seriously fucking can't with MvC:I, it's so bad
Anyway yeah I'm also someone that Evo has totally snuck up on. I'm not terribly happy with how SFV has gone down since launch (shocking opinion), and I was incredibly looking forward to Tekken 7 but I haven't even been able to pick it up or really even watch any of it since launch since my life has gotten crazy the past several weeks. I already took that Friday/Monday off (since I would have to already be up for work by the time it ends Monday morning here and I'm too old for that shit) and we've been on a PTO freeze for like 6 months so I'm keeping the days off and I'm sure I'll watch but man, first time since I started watching Evo ~7 years ago that I'm just not particularly excited at all.
Also if there was EVER going to be a game to get people away from Marvel, it would be a well done/good looking 3v3 DBZ game soooooo this should be interesting.

I would assume something to do with spider-man symbiote suit. Probably it gets broken off and takes over some folks during story mode. Or could be related to Venom.
Capcom currently has "no plans" to bring the Switch monster hunter to the west.

In case you missed this from Maximilian on Dragonball Fighter Z he hard confirmed we got some Nitroplus Blasterz craziness happening with assists.
I've lived this shit before and it is insane. Simultaneous assists after a knockdown on someone is just madness to deal with. Luckily this title lets you do some very special dashes to deal with some of it but still. Call them at any time and simultaneous though means mid air calls and such. Gohan's uppercut plus Vegeta cold star beam is gonna be a real treat. I can easily see Rocking Buu's huge pink cloud move into this to fuck people over. Dont get knocked down or backed into a corner with duel assists on deck. Better learn to use them special dashes to avoid projectile assists...bet that just upped Gohan's stock as an assist given his is an uppercut you can lend to such setups.

Looks like a story mode boss, something like Galactacus(they said they're doing some interesting stuff with the story mode), shows up in the story trailer too, really doubt he's a playable character.
Nah, regardless if people hate SFV or MVCI or not, the only way they switch is if the Pro-players switch. And the pros follow the money.
SFV and MVCI are pretty safe, especially if MVCI is in the Capcup.
Capcom has been VERY shy when it comes to including MvC:I in the Capcom Pro Tour. Every time they've been asked about it, they've always spun the conversation to accessibility, or it being too late, or something.
It makes a lot of sense, and like, why not, but I'm not even sure anymore. They might just want to focus on SFV and keep the money there.

Considering how heavy the promotion is focused on the story mode I figure they're afraid of being seen as making eSports the focus like with SFV. Also, they might not have the investors yet because they don't have the built-in money like SFV did with Sony.
