This list is bad and you should feel bad.
That can't be right re: WoW, at least not for the early expansions.Gill has meteors, close enough.
SSF4 sold about 60% of SF4, and as far as I can figure out, all the WoW expansions only hit about 30-40% attach rate to the number of subscribers. Diablo 2's expansion only sold about a quarter of the base game.
3S too high, Marvel 2 and TvC too low. Otherwise, not bad.Capcom fighting game tiers:

Wasn't Capcom Fighting Jam an ass tier game? I know it dumbed down some characters.
MvC2 shines in sheer awesome and fan service, despite it being possibly one of the most broken and exploited games ever, not to mention one of the most lazily crafted. But balance alone doesn't make games fun.Idk MvC2 is pretty much a failure as far as fighting game design goes. Only thing that dragged it along was the community. I could say the same for capcom fighting jam being so fucking high up on that list as well. MvC2 and capcom fighting jam are actually sibling games in a sense.
I would swap Jojo's and Power Stone on that list. Jojo's is bad and will forever be bad.
I haven't even played JoJos but I know I won't because of how bad the characters look alone. I just assume they must be developed as fuck in the manga for people to even half like them.I would swap Jojo's and Power Stone on that list. Jojo's is bad and will forever be bad.
Iggy is soooo much fun to play.I haven't even played JoJos but I know I won't because of how bad the characters look alone. I just assume they must be developed as fuck in the manga for people to even half like them.

Jojo's is the most important fighting game of all time. All roads lead developers forever to Dio's arms.
What makes a fighting game important?

What makes a fighting game important?
This is the criteria I agree with.Introducing elements to the genre that others use commonly.
Special moves/QCFs and DPs - Street Fighter
Multiple distinct playable characters - Street Fighter 2
Supers -Super TurboArt of Fighting
What makes a fighting game important?
Tekken introduced fun.
I think you would win that argumentI would argue that Smash Brothers is more important than JoJo's.
This thread looks like the fucking Marvel OT. Too many long post, and wish list. Can't we just go back to talking about who's the best power ranger and who in the FGC is what DBZ character?

Though I tend to spare this thread of all my BB video link post I been doing.
Of course!
I am still amazed that SFxT managed to split its player base into people who think its ass and people who think its the bees knees. If SFxT didn't have disc locked content, I wonder what the real verdict on it would be.SFxT is probably closer to being ass tier, if they had made a SFxT2 I could still see it being ass because SFxT had very little redemning elements.
C'mon you know no one actually click on those. =)

... Iron Man is ASS!

Of course they do, people like seeing a game better than Marvel.![]()
I don't think disc-locked content had a huge impact on "fighting game fans'" opinions after it came out, and hurt it's appeal to casuals much more.I am still amazed that SFxT managed to split its player base into people who think its ass and people who think its the bees knees. I'm in the Mike Ross/Justin Wong camp on the game and waiting for v2013 to jump back in, but I don't think the game can be salvaged for stream monsters.
I don't know why people had a shitfit about the SFxT dlc stuff. DLC on disc isn't anything new.
Capcom should just make Cyberbots 2. Mechs are in baby.
