My friend pre-ordered Dragonball Xenoverse, and then said it was a fighting game.

I had to tell him it was a DBZ game.

Nah, Dunhiru(?) is nice, but I want to see what Kitasenju DJ can do.

I remember Twitch flew out Dunhiru for I think CEO and dude didn't even make it out of pools, not only that, but I think he didn't even try use DJ the whole way through lol he switched to his Sakura/Gen.

Also, if Kitasenju goes to Final Round.. he might not even be the best DJ there with Da Knut/Kurokiba being there too.

Dammit, I have a feeling one of my higher skilled friends isn't coming to EVO this year. He skipped out last year too. You guys who played him in 2013 might have to hold off your revenge for yet another year.

He went toe to toe with Poongko in a long set last month. He had more wins from what I remember. He has like 5kpp online and is #4 in jp arcades right behind Daigo.

He's going to get bodied isn't he?

I used to love playing in the snow and snowmobiling. Now cold/wet weather just means sore joints and an increased chance to easily lose my balance and break something.

Snow is still pretty though and I love thunderstorms xD

Pro Fluke convincingly thrashed Pepeday 5-2 in a ft5 Fuerte vs. Fuerte matchup at Dreamhack.

That said, I can't say he has a real chance of winning FR.

Dude got some flak for using social media too much on a public poll, so he's pulled himself out as to not get Kappa too annoyed at him. I don't think there's much wrong with Fluke asking around to get votes on a public poll though. /r/Kappa should either only poll those stumping up donation money or run a poll where you have to register before the poll starts to be able to vote. Otherwise they are going to end up with this happening a lot.

To be unbiased - Pro Fluke is the best Fuerte in Europe (and the #1 Fuerte on XBL) and can pull out really solid games, but he's not at Infil/Kaz levels, so I dunno if spending all that money to fly him out would be worth it if you could send those players instead.

What's idiotic is that Ryan isn't being sent.

it's not right for pro fluke to ask his social media buddies to vote for him because at the end of the day, r/kappa community will be the one who is providing the funds. why would they want to send someone to final round when they didn't really have a say on who's going in the first place?

I think both Lost Swords and Rise of Incarnates are F2P too?

Namco definitely leading the pack when it comes to experimenting with F2P fighting games.

Ok guys Im close to cracking and buying Guilty Gear. Is it worth it to buy on PS3? I have bad internet but I can get lag free games of SF4, SF3 online edition and Tekken. I cant deal with lots of lag, but if the netcode is comparable to any of the above Im sure I can deal with it. Is it worth buying on PS3? Or should I wait a year or so when I grab a PS4?
I play Slayer in GG and Potemkin so I really dont want to slog through lag...im rusty enough as is.

I have it on PS3 and no problems. Most of my connection woes are because I'm so far away from the other players, not because of the game.

I have it on Ps3 and it's fantastic. Netcode is certainly better than SF4 on playstation.
