Ok guys Im close to cracking and buying Guilty Gear. Is it worth it to buy on PS3? I have bad internet but I can get lag free games of SF4, SF3 online edition and Tekken. I cant deal with lots of lag, but if the netcode is comparable to any of the above Im sure I can deal with it. Is it worth buying on PS3? Or should I wait a year or so when I grab a PS4?
I play Slayer in GG and Potemkin so I really dont want to slog through lag...im rusty enough as is.

Netcode is fine but Xrd isn't really a game that lends itself especially well to online play in the first place. If you're rusty and not getting the things you want irritates you then you'll get enough of that offline.

It sounds like patch 1.1 is increasing buffer times on a lot of stuff which should help alleviate the problem whenever that hits, but for now it's something worth noting.

If you can get lag free with Tekken, you'll be fine. Although, anything above 5-6 frames of lag, and it's almost unplayable. But good news! You can get away with a lot of things in lag with Slayer and Pot. Although it's going to teach you some bad habits.

Seems like they are working in aspects of Shadow. I don't like the Frankenstein's Monster stitching though.

Yeah not a huge fan of the design but it's still too early for me to judge it too harshly.

Abel was the 16th attempt at a new body for Bison IIRC. Guile assumes Abel met Charlie when they fight in SF4, but Abel was really only commenting on having seen Guile's Sonic Boom before - which makes sense as Seth copied/was taught to throw Booms, presumably during creation.
