Clearly EVO is going to solve the Smash/CRT issue by mandating Brawl on the Wii U.

I get the feeling Injustice will be embarrassing, however I'd be glad if someone could alleviate that feeling.
Thanks for the link. Gets interesting pretty fast. Will collect thoughts. No prob. It goes on for a while before Sanford really starts going ham. I'll see if I can find a later timestamp for that.
Edit: Here we go. Real talk starts here. http://www.twitch.tv/bum1six3/b/354734387?t=574m30s
You consistently go out of your way to shit on anything related to NRS, so I don't know what anyone could say that would make you feel differently.
I like the cut of your jib.The controller already has a screen on it! Problem solved
Dat Deathstroke.I loathe MK but Injustice looks cool because The Flash is in it.
Im curious if SFxT ver2013 is going to make it.
Marvel
AE
Tekken
Persona
Injustice
I suspect Marvel will be the headliner.
What's the gist of Sanford " real talk"? Can't watch the archive myself atm
EVO game prediction...
AE (main game)
UMVC3
TTT2
KOF
SFxTK
Either Injustice or Sony Smash (both companies will be offering dat moneyhat)
Marvel as a main game/headliner makes no sense. SF has the most worldwide appeal and the largest amount of entries every year.

Yeah, and Marvel is hype as fuuuuuuck. It makes sense because it's fair to say that the hype for AE2012 is already dying. Having AE after UMvC3 will only make it look worse.
lookin forward to Infiltration taking Marvel at EVO...

But are the paychecks/moneyhats there to convince Wizard? That is where the problem lies for the other fighters.Real talk, SFxT had its chance at being an EVO game. There was a ton of fighters that came out last year that could take its place

No doubt SFxT will be in, the Capcom moneyhats looks to improve a lot at least.
I don't know how some of you don't see how international Marvel has become. We're far removed from it being American-only affair, though America does still have the best players because of the history there. This Evo is gonna be Marvel's coming out party as a truly international game, imo.
Phantasma is definitely farther away than Injustice. No way that is happening at all unless ASW has wizards making deals for EVO.I doubt the number of games will be changed much from 2012. It certainly won't increase; last year had a packed schedule and there was much resistance against adding a Day 4. Don't think it'll decrease due to increased attendance.
Probably make the most sense to look at what from 2012 will get replaced.
SCV <> TTT2 for sure
SFxT <> PSASBR possible
KOF <> P4A or DOA possible. KOF is gone for sure though
Did they announce US release dates for Injustice and BBCP yet? That'd be the most important determining factor for if those games get main stage at EVO. If SF2 Tournament of Legends was a Day 3 event that's another slot freed up too.
Dolphin needs really powerful PCs to run well.Does Smash run well on Dolphin?
I don't really pay attention to Marvel but don't a lot of the international players get worked when they show up to play? I know some gimmicks manage to work in their favor (like dude that played MODOK at last EVO...can't remember his name) but are they actually able to compete on the same skill level as the Americans?

Korea invading Mexico's Game last year was some serious salthype. Hypesalt?Easily the most exciting thing that could happen would be for Korea to invade America's Game.
There were internationals in top 16 last year aside from MODOK dude. With more internationals coming for Marvel this year, I suspect there'll be more placing higher. I think the best international players can compete on the level of America's B-tier (meaning, everyone that's not Champ/Chris G/Jwong/etc), but I don't know that they can compete with the A-tier, no. Then again, it is Marvel.
I don't know why the headliner has to be a game where internationals are favored, anyway. The playing field isn't so slanted that the internationals can't compete.
IMO they just lack experience. The American community is so tight knit. People play each other all the time, cross-country. Quite literally all the time. Every week someone has a shot at playing the best in the world, tech innovators and vets of the franchise and adapting, and that allows those that are at the top to counter adapt.I don't really pay attention to Marvel but don't a lot of the international players get worked when they show up to play? Yup, Phantasma has no console release date at the moment.Phantasma is definitely farther away than Injustice. No way that is happening at all unless ASW has wizards making deals for EVO.
Kusoru is in the top tier of frauds though, alongside Infiltration, Chris G and Viscant. If we're talking frauds let's talk Kusoru.
