English desperately needs a singular gender neutral pronoun. It is so tiresome doing he/she when making hypothetical scenarios involving people.

I really recommend NOT using s/he and using they because there are people who don't identify as a man or woman, and you're excluding/not recognizing them by using that.

The Ze/Xe/etc pronouns just "other" the individual/group because it sounds so foreign- "they" works perfectly fine and has been used for decades- grammar people are just stupid about changing these things when its obvious the language involved.

Extremely unbalanced if so, Ultra Street Fighter IV, Super Smash Bros for Wii U, Super Smash Bros Melee, Persona 4 Arena (finals that day, most likely), and Guilty Gear Xrd (1/2) all on the same day, then Killer Instinct (finals that day, most likely), Mortal Kombat X, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, and Guilty Gear Xrd (2/2) the next day.

Goes from super hype to super dull.

I don't see any famous players really in any of my pools except insaynne in usf4 but that would be a few matches in. I tried googling Leviathan and it seems he played at NWM and lost to Chris G, though it might be someone else, can't seem to find any gameplay though but I believe some of you live in the northwest so maybe you met him.

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been around, been watching our puppy for the first two weeks so I haven't been on my computer where I'm logged in on GAF but I opted to log in now because of Evo pools going up and a certain post that was made.

So yeah I registered under sloanerisette this year instead of Smedwicks because I'm currently (about to be) transitioning! Woo! I was hoping to make a post Sunday because that's when I'm actually starting hormones but because of what was posted today I'm basically rushed to post and explain stuff.

I don't want to get too mad at Curly but yeah, just advice for everyone, please don't do that if they aren't explicitly out somewhere.

Also I registered under sloanerisette (it's a name I've been using since around Evo last year) to motivate myself to take this year for myself and start transitioning, and I've been Smedwicks since mid 2000's when I first started playing WoW, so this wasn't exactly a small decision, really.

By the time Evo rolls around I'll be about 11-12 days into hormones so there probably won't be big changes for those who met me last year, I imagine.

And please you can call me Sloane or Sloanerisette or Smedwicks that's all cool, but please use she/her pronouns, that's all I ask. Even if you don't like me all I ask is that you respect this. If you can see me and call me Smedwicks (which was the way I was addressed 90% of the time last year) then you can sure respect me as a woman.

I figured Marvel and SF would be on separate days because they probably need to use the same consoles. But both smash games on the same day as street fighter, I don't know what to think of that. The 3 highest entered games shoved into one day. They really went out of their way to make sure Marvel gets main stage attention for more than top 8.
