So basically nothing too thrilling so far.

I wouldn't doubt E3 Smash getting more viewers. You have the whole gaming industry basically looking to see the game while EVO is just a culmination of a niche genre. And you have way more Nintendo fanboys than FGC members, one of them being that crappy manager who likes to wait in line weeks in advance to get a Nintendo console.

The Smash tournament at E3 will be more to see how the game plays than anything else - not a serious showcase of the game. They have many seasoned Smash competitors in the tournament so they will be able to give loads of info out afterwards. "Oh Villager seems useless, too many slow moves" "OH MAN LUCARIO IS OD LOOK AT HOW BIG THIS SMASH IS" etc etc etc.

Lots of people are fiending to hear about the game's pace and feel, so they've been smart not keeping it too serious whilst giving the scene some exposure.

And then it comes out on 3DS a few months later. It should be good.

I see. That makes sense.

Twitch had about 150k viewers for the MS conference. I don't think it's unreasonable to assume that we'll see similar numbers for Nintendo's presentations/events.

Especially something like Smash that everyone seems to be clamoring for.

This game and CvS2 are the few old school games I'd totally be down to practice and get good at. Too bad one of them has no online(CvS2) and the other absolutely no one plays(LB2)
