I didn't have to search for that though, it's no big secret. It's pretty obvious when you play(especially since I'm trying to learn I-No on the side when I'm not playing Johnny), and I happened to have a full sprite rip of guilty gear from studying their animations.
I don't know why anybody would think I'm gonna get banned, it's content right from the game. Same thing with people posting pictures from the witcher 2. Perfectly fine.
The only thing horrendous about the netcode was 1) the rollbacks affecting audio playback and 2) people thinking rollback netcode means they can play on wifi against people on the moon.

I hate that it's sped up like that. Slowing it to .5 playback speed doesn't help either. Probably an encoding issue.
That aside, the overhead-from-behind mixup that Akuma pulls off on Doom is pretty nasty:

Actually, audio bug did not make the actual netcode bad.
Also, the game had infinites, but the game breaking glitch(Rolento Knife) popped up at a later update.
Vanilla release was still sloppy all around of course. Like MK9 levels almost

Played it at one of those tours. It's exactly KI. Take that for what you will.
I think the game will have a really slow Tourney start-up due to the whole "Green Scare" (Xbox One.) thing.
It will take some time till tourneys start having good turnouts for KI, a XBONE costs $499, imagine Next Level and Super Arcade having to buy like 3 of them at least just for KI

Yeah, that's nonsense. It's too much of an investment for a game that will most likely have a low playerbase. (That is if all of the "Injustice/MK" pros don't move on over to KI for some reason.

In the short term, I think bringing your own console will serve KI and keep up with how big it's community is pretty well IMO.
If it catches on and suddenly you have a lot of "fuck it I'm gonna buy an X1," then they'll have to shell out some money for dedicated set ups. MS might be willing to help through sponsorship though, they've been pretty willing as of recent, especially with regards to getting KI exposure.

This is most certainly marvel.
One of my best friends is really into KI, So I'm sure I'll end up playing it at his place from time to time. He's getting an Xbox one just to play KI. It's the FG series revival that he's been waiting 10+ years for.
I'll probably treat it like I do with MK/Injustice, fun to mess around with but I don't think I'll practice much or get really in depth with it.

Current-gen, folks have enough consoles for those. That's not really an issue.
Next-gen it is an issue right now, as I don't think that many folks in the FGC are going to be buying next-gen, and if they are, it will be PS4. Imagine if folks bought the 3DO to play ST or Samsho at tournies- they'd feel pretty burned.

I'm PC-only for the forseeable future. All my gadget savings are gonna go to a Cintiq Companion, and that's like 5 PS4s.
Unless someone wants to lend me a PS3 so I can get bodied by Honzo Gonzo at Capcom Cup ^_^

I feel for Sirlin to a degree; my impression is that his changes are hated on because they were done in a vacuum (as opposed to the tweaks that are being made with USF4, which are based in part on community feedback) and because he chooses to make changes to things that most people don't actually see as an issue
Those kinds of things just aren't going to go over well with a fanbase when you decide that you should be the one true arbiter of the game.
To be fair, the article cites that grandmasters see the problem of memorized responses in chess, while intermediate level players feel that a classic shouldn't be changed.
That aside, I actually liked HDR gameplay for a number of reasons (and I do like the new sprites), but prefer ST when I play.
Looks like Sirlin at least consulted with Nitsuma on this one.
I've never got into his balance changes for ST, but man, Puzzle Strike is a great great board game, so I got nothing but respect for Sirilin
....even with that....I already "bought" it and will read the whole manual tonight after work

Sirlin's variant on Chess seems interesting. I like Chess as it is though. I'm a novice who doesn't plan to play the game at a higher level so the memorization and stalemates don't happen when I play.
