Fighting Games Weekly | Nov 4-10 | I-No what that finger smells like [18+]

The only thing horrendous about the netcode was 1) the rollbacks affecting audio playback and 2) people thinking rollback netcode means they can play on wifi against people on the moon.

ok, fair, it was sound-related, but basically ruined all the sound of the game.

non-netcode related, wasn't there a bug in an update where a rolento knife hitting a fireball caused the game to completely freeze or something?

Actually, audio bug did not make the actual netcode bad.
Also, the game had infinites, but the game breaking glitch(Rolento Knife) popped up at a later update.
Vanilla release was still sloppy all around of course. Like MK9 levels almost

addressed after reading further, sigh.

Eventhubs UMvC3 player ranking, #21-30

I'd seriously like to know who their dealer is. #kappa
Combofiend on that list is highly suspect.

Damn this is like a Marvel parody against all the Kirblars in the world... :p

Why shouldn't a player who only has two pawns left win against a player who has a queen, two rooks, seven pawns, and a bishop? No wait...
Chess already has a built in comeback mechanic though.

I've disabled all my plugins and I still can't get eventhubs to fucking load. Someone post the list.

I was actually a fan of some of the changes in HD Remix. I liked Ryu's fake fireball and Fei Long's simplified chicken wing input.

The fake fireball was an excellent addition to the game. Frankly, it should have been in SF4.

As for the chicken wing input, didn't Sirlin play Fei? I recall hearing that a lot of the Fei changes weren't subjective, but never played enough Feis in HDR to notice.

Chess Alpha

Witness the prequel to Chess before the rooks and bishops entered the fray and the Queen got her multi movement abilities

Infrit at 23 with Dr. Strange listed as one of his characters is insulting.

I'm really not liking the camera switching during supers and dust moves in Xrd. It feels like sitting through those animations is gonna get real old real fast.

Everything looks great outside of that, I'm concerned about the duration of those transitions as well. It's a series staple though so I'll deal.

edit: it's still coming to current gen systems as well correct?

Well, even it was a bit self-serving in that regard, there really isn't any reason for that input to be the way it is in SSF2T and SF4. What's the point in adding that extra Up+Forward in there? It seems like over-complicating his primary special move just for the sake of it.

I became a Fei player in HD Remix specifically because the easier input made him much more fun to play.

Cinematic supers didn't get old in Capcom games, I'm sure Anime can survive the transition. Gives the audience more time for hype.
