Capcom Pro Tour Asia Finals is the 2nd last Premier Event of this year's Capcom Pro Tour. 9 players who have qualified via 9 different CPTA qualifier events across Asia Pacific (eg: Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore) will battle it out in an offline round robin event at Singapore's largest gaming convention, Game Start Asia, this weekend. The winner of this Premier Event will win a significant portion of the $15,000 prize pool as well as an auto-qualification spot for the Capcom Cup (5th-6th December) which has the largest prize pool ($250,000) in competitive fighting game history.

CPT Highlight Match (Amazing ending BTW)
CPT Performance Summary
- Currently at 30th place with 142 points. As there will be no CPT points given out at this event, he's currently in the Capcom Cup qualification bubble along with Dakou. If he does not win this tournament, Misse can qualify via points if players who are already in the Capcom Cup field win the spots at either CPT Asia Finals or DreamHack Winter.
- Had a breakthrough performance this year via an amazing match with Razer's RB at South East Asia Major 2015 thanks to his explosive Makoto playstyle
Qualified via Hong Kong Esports Tournament @ Hong Kong
CPT Highlight Match
CPT Performance Summary
- Currently at 44th place with 66 points. Only way for him to qualify for Capcom Cup is by winning this event.
- Considered to be one of the best 3rd Strike players of all time and 2nd cheapest Street Fighter player according to Alex "Back Masseuse" Valle
- However, his Ultra SF4 performance this year is mostly unremarkable as the Hong Kong Esports Tournament was the only event where he placed top 8 this year
Qualified via KVO @ Osaka, Japan
CPT 2015 Highlight Match
CPT Performance Summary
- Currently at 13th place with 416 points
- Has already qualified for Capcom Cup via Ultra Hyakkishu 2015 in Japan

- Zhi has noted that Nemo's Rolento is the shit
Qualified via Capcom Pro Tour Asia Shanghai Qualifier @ Shanghai, China
CPT 2015 Highlight Match

CPT 2015 Highlight Match
CPT Performance Summary
Dakou
Xiaohai
- Currently at 31st place with 140 points
- Like Misse, he's on the Capcom Cup bubble so he has to either win this to qualify for CC or Dakou can qualify via points if players who are already in the Capcom Cup field win the spots at both CPT Asia Finals and DreamHack Winter
- Very prolific in the King of Fighters series like his partner Xiaohai but seldom have a noteworthy performance in SF4 (only victory this year was the CPT ranking event that he won to qualify for CPT Asia Finals despite participating various CPT events in 3 continents this year)
- Currently at 14th place with 360 points (Has enough points for him to qualify for Capcom Cup)
- One of the few players to have a positive win record against Daigo's Evil Ryu
- Despite placing top 8 in the last 5 CPT tournaments he has entered, stream monsters often overlook him when there's a stream chat debate on the best SF4 players in the world right now
Qualified via Nine States Tournament @ Kyushu, Japan
CPT 2015 Highlight Match
CPT Performance Summary
- Currently at 16th place with 308 points (Has enough points for him to qualify for Capcom Cup)
- Because he placed 2nd at the Nine States Tournament, Poongko replaced the winner, Infiltration, as his Korean partner in crime was unable to attend this event
- Had a very strong start in the early stages of the 2015 CPT circuit but has largely fallen off (Has not placed top 16 in the last 3 CPT events excluding EVO)
Last Chance Qualifier
The 9th player who will be participating in this event will be determined tomorrow at the Last Chance Qualifier that is happening at the same venue. It has been reported that strong local players like Leslie and Gackt as well as international players like PR Balrog, Haitani and Kindevu have signed up for this event as this is probably the last chance for them to qualify directly for the Capcom Cup (the last Premier event of this year's CPT is Dreamhack happening in two weeks).
With respect to the CPT storyline, it is a make or break moment for PR Balrog who is currently at 32nd place with 132 points. Even though he has flown to places like Costa Rica and Japan in the past 2 months in order to win some CPT points, his disappointing finishes in the last 4 CPT events he has enterred since Tokyo Game Show has caused him to fall short from becoming a Capcom Cup qualifier via points.
Note: If you have an interest in discussing the Fighting Game Community, consider joining the Fighting Game Community thread where we try to talk about what is happening in the FGC.
As always, if you see an infographic for a FGC tournament, it was likely made by acekingoffsuit. The guy makes stream schedules for every major tournament and he does it for free. You can find his twitter account here: https://twitter.com/acekingoffsuit
Also, Malice215's FGC Calendar was used to help get more information on tournaments. Malice215 (also a gaffer) spends much of his free time maintaining the FGC Calendar
Note 2: Tripon will post tourney infos for other tournaments that are also happening this weekend like Eclipse (Smash Tourney with ~$12000 prize pool) and Rewired (Arizona regional FG tournament)
