The second I saw this illustration [in the Tony Taka 2014 calendar], I knew Kotobukiya would turn it into a figure. Considering how Daisy turned out, I probably won't pre-order this one.

The problem with Daisy [from what I can see] is the lack of a nose when viewed from the front. Something to do with the shading, I guess, and the skin color seems "off" compared to the prototype. I haven't received mine yet, since it will ship at the end of the month, but my excitement is a lot less than it was. :/

What is the price and scale of this again. I am starting to want it to display with dragons crown elf. I'm big into displaying with like stuff and if she's the right scale they would look pretty great together. I didn't want it before because of the lack of cloths but the more I see her the less of an issue that seems. She is much classier than I originally viewed her to be. It helps that she got the up vote of the female friends I have shown pictures of her to.

Edit: was able to look her up from work, scale and price seem perfect, now to see if I can still find her.

If a company makes a hit, there will be others to see that demand into their products. Medicom has tackled Street Fighter and these two before, but that's not stopping them from releasing two new Real Action Hero 1/6 figures of Chun Li and Cammy.

The pair of figures aren't the first RAH of the two, but these new versions will take their appearance from Ultra Street Fighter 4. They definitely have improved the costumes of the two, and most importantly, their faces. What is also new, but I'm still a bit leery of, is that the knee joints have been concealed under the flesh for Cammy. While it's certainly a much better look if it works, I just hope it doesn't degrade over time like other companies' efforts have.

Haha, thankfully, series 2 of ME3 was fine. FemShep face was actually perfect with no weird shadow issues. Not sure about later P-As.

Indeed, I was expecting it sometime early tomorrow morning [my time].

I'm still debating purchasing her, though. Given that this is Mediacom's first scaled figure, and the fact that I haven't purchased anything from their RAH line, I'm a bit worried about the quality. After Junko, which I'm sure will look "fine" when I receive it, but likely not as great as I thought she would, I'm trying to be more careful about my purchases then I used to be.

But what if she sells out quickly and I regret it later? Bleh! I must decide soon.

I thought Junko still looked great despite the hair, until I saw that her eyes were completely different from the prototype. They're too circular now which is worse.

Also, BiJ sure is taking their time with my QuesQ Elizabeth order. She was released like 3 days ago.

Re-checked my December Amiami order. Even with adding Futayo it's way cheaper than it should had been, down to 29580JPY. Those delays aren't such a bad thing after all!

Only Bayonetta and Maoyu smartphone stand are out of stock now. Bayo should land tomorrow, I hope the phone stand doesn't delay the whole thing too long heh.

Sweet lord! Why was it so expensive?! The only think I've ever ordered from HLJ was the Dark Elf but shipping only cost me around $22 for EMS. She got here pretty quickly too, only took about 3 days.

They tend to charge about $10 USD more than everyone else, and then there's the trumped-up shipping charges on top.

The faces of Medicom Chun-Li and Cammy look perfect, however they will cost a truckload of money. If their Bishoujo versions did not exist I would've bought them, but you can't beat the money/quality ratio of Kotobukiya.

Yea, faces look good but the bodies and outfits look kinda bad.

thankfully I got Batman for only about $75 plus shipping.

Pretty much all the good Persona figures are long sold out and hard to find. Just gotta keep an eye on amiami's preowned section, mandarake, rakuten, and setup alerts on figinstock.

Some of the better ones that don't cost hundreds of dollars:

As for new and upcoming figures, Ques Q's Elizabeth came out, and that looks decent. Alter has a Labrys coming out that we've only seen an unpainted prototype for, but it should come out great based on their track record. And there'll probably be a flood of new P3 figures in the next year as the movie comes out.

Elizabeth actually came out pretty well. I think I'm going to have to order her soon.

I'm still strongly considering those Sora and Riku figures coming out in Jan. I know they are PA though and don't want to pay such money for disappointment. Sora's face sculpt doesn't bother me as much as it did at first (hoping that they improved it since the figs were delayed but that probably never happens)

Elizabeth prize figure was really nice and cheap. I'll take some pics of her soon. Looks better than Megahouse Labrys lol
