It's my fault. I didn't pre-order her. They made exactly one more for me and I didn't buy it. I'm sorry.

tharja isnt bad. casual emblem is.
She's the #4 most ordered figure on MFC. I'm convinced they're just delaying her to get in as many orders as possible while they keep making more and more.

They're building an army of Tharjas to prevent the Kancolle apocalypse. It's also why Benten is so expensive, more funds for the Tharja war machine!
Here we have the next figure in the Seven Deadly Sins line: Belphagor [Sloth]. She's an Amakuni/Hobby Japan exclusive and will be available in September for ¥11000 [¥12,852 for the Limited Edition with a Cushion Cover].

Oh, also here's Amakuni's Noel Vermillion. She's an exclusive, as well. Release date is in October with a price of ¥9241 [¥10,167 with a Desk Mat].
Given the price of Amakuni's previous Noel, expect this one to rise in-price after release. I'll likely be purchasing her, as well. ~_~

Got my AmiAmi payment request for the month. About 26k for Taiga, Momo and Senjougahara. Would have been worse if Miku made her original release date.

I was thinking of teaming her with Henry but I had her romance with Libra instead. Loved making opposites attract.
Funny this is exactly why I enjoy it.
Also, I like coming in this thread just to see the many figures but I don't have any myself *yet*. It's weird though, while I love Fire Emblem as one of my favorite series I kind of stopped playing Awakening for a while. I didn't know whether I should have just tried going through it to complete the story or to get super children as well. Decided to go back to it after this weekend and just finish the story then decide later if I'll want to go back into it and do some super children run.
Also, dat Tharja is delicious but I don't think I'd buy it. I like action figures more than statues, and for statues I'd probably end up getting things like a vehicle, like Samus' ship for example. Things that are less likely to give me the urge to jerk off... *looks over at Tharja* hnng.

So to those who've ordered from BigInJapan is there any explanation to their inconsistency with the payment they request and the one you ordered with?
I ordered the Izanagi reissue and it came to ¥7,675 upon preorder and now they are asking me for ¥8,085 =S
So either they upped prices due to use of Paypal or delivery costs more, wished they explained it =/
Might change my last preorder from them to another because of this =/

I'm the opposite. I prefer posed figures over anything with joints. My main issue is really the joints themselves. That, and the fact that most poseable figures (outside of the big expensive shit like Hot Toys) are 1/10 scale, which I feel is too small for the price.
Libra's dialogue with their daughter was priceless. I guess I can try Henry in a replay.
This is how I feel. Not a fan of figmas and other joint figures. The only exceptions are robots(Evangelion, Gurren Lagann) and non-humanoid figures (Pokemon, Persona).

It's because the shipping price is an estimate before they have the item in stock and can pack/weight it. I've occasionally had lower totals upon final invoice from them. MF Dark Elf, for example.
I used to prefer articulated figures more than statues but after getting a few figs (momohime, 1/6 alter aigis) I have changed my mind. I still buy articulated figs but I'm mostly into statues now.

Well yeah, with robots and stuff, it doesn't really matter, but on human characters, you get these awkward-looking joints that ruin the visual presentation. I know there's really no way around it, but still...
I used to be all about posed figures but then Max Factory had to go and make Cobra figmas. Since then I fell in love with the line. The accessories are great usually, and the figures themselves are quite good (though it varies with the models). Add the posibility of getting scaled furniture for them and the display options become infinite

Ah okay, what I don't like about their system is that they don't update you on that, I mean every other site will at least send you a notification that shipping cost has increased etc. Hopefully I'll be able to cancel my remaining preorder, cause as good as BigInJapan is their lack of communication has left me unimpressed at times =/
Will probably only use them as a last choice or something.
I only bought one thing from them simply because only they had it for the a few bucks more than MSRP. Had to pay up front tho.

An updated breakdown when the item is in stock would be nice yeah. I use them a lot because my choice is them or Nippon-Yasan, and (with the exception of exclusives) they're cheaper and they ship faster. N-Y's invoices do have a breakdown though.
The best option will probably be Nippon-Yasan. They have a fair markup for exclusives and don't require payment upfront. I'm not sure when pre-orders for her begin though.

Yeah they are alright for certain exclusive/limited figures but as not good as other sites tbph.
Yep I really like N-Y for that as well, and as fellow UK/EU Figure GAFers they are the better option to use then most sites.Why I did like BigInJapan but N-Y does it better than them tbh.

So I'm wondering, does this mean that Lucifer didn't sell that well? They've all been exclusive so far (Asmodeus, Leviathan, Mammon, now Belphegor) except for her.
Also, WTF is Belphegor sitting on!?

I've been wanting/needing a Noel for my collection, and this one seems perfect.
I made Tharja my wife.
It seemed like the only possible outcome.
I use BIJ since, apparently, a few people have had issues with N-Y [although I've never had one].
N-Y is a bit slower to ship than BIJ, and they're response in customer service is definitely slower. From what I've seen, they don't package the items as well, although none of mine have ever arrived damaged. Some people received their pre-orders without the bonus item promised. Basically, I use N-Y for exclusives that I'm either not 100% sure on [since I don't need to pay up-front], or sold out at BIJ. However, considering I usually pre-order right away, I don't normally have a problem with them being sold out.
For all of the exclusives I'm absolutely confident in [such as the Seven Deadly Sins], I use BIJ. Yeah, paying up-front, especially so far from release, can be a pain, but at least it feels "free" later on when it mysteriously shows up at my door. I budget for it, so it's not all bad, and I trust BIJ's service.
Lucifer wasn't distributed by Hobby Japan, who are known for their exclusives. The other three [well, now four including Belphagor] are, hence their exclusivity. As for why Lucifer wasn't, I have no idea. It certainly made obtaining her more painless. :/
Regarding what she's sitting on...I think you'd rather not know. She is the sin of Sloth, after all.
