This is the first time i'm even seen praise for tech demo Cloud. I thought there was an almost unanimous agreement that he looked a bit off there.

It can look more realistic, but that doesn't mean that Cloud is going to suddenly look like a real dude. Barret may very well look more realistic as he already had much more of a "real" appearance in Advent Children, same goes for Cid. But Cloud is much more stylized than both of them. And as others have said, he's supposed to be really pretty. That's just who he is.

I don't remember Cloud's eyes being so big in that movie. Anyways, I think it looks pretty bad. I don't mind the tech demo look or the new Dissidia look.

I'd like to think Nomura remembers what he wrote for his own backround story
And with Tifa....i expect atleast a bit of fanservice from them just due to being an attractive female wearing that, but i'm sure they know it would not go over well if it was done in an obnoxious and demeaning way. After all, they did redesign her with the much cooler AC design.

The thing is, he becomes sullen and depressed everywhere. He's sullen and depressed it both Dissidia and all Kingdom Hearts. Heck, even the general populace remember him as such, as demonstrated by the oft-repeated "emo" accusation. I can understand the apprehension.

The only thing I really don't like in the Dissidia reboot is that Cloud's eyes are way too blue. They look pre-Mako, which makes no sense.

Mako just made the eyes glow in the original game, so them being bright blue like his artwork from the original game makes sense.
You're saying that the reason he made it through the dress segment was because of his femininity, then?
